Having grown up in Fort Worth during the sixties, there were two teams I learned to hate! The dallas cowpatties and the texas longhornies! LOL

Why the Longhorns? they are all the way in Austin. We have the Horned Frogs in Fort Worth

I know TCU very well my friend. My late sister graduated there in 1960 and my late father was a season ticket holder from WW 2 until about 1979.
I spent a lot of saturday nights watching people beat the shit out of the frogs. I root for Oklahoma. I had two friends from high school play for them and I started following them in 1972. Had season tickets until two years ago, whn my health started to fail and i just didn't feel like going anymore.
I saw two of OU's National championships in person and have been to all but one of the major bowl games.

Sorry to same my two favorite all-time favorite teams are the Longhorns and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. I know these two teams have given you MANY headaches over the years

Believe it or not, for years the bugaboo for OU was Missouri. They never were good enough to get past both Nebraska and OU in the same season, but they always managed to beat one of us!

Yep! Gotta agree with you about the rivalry games. No more OU-Nebraska every year, or Texas- Arkansas. Those were two of many that were damn good games.
