Could Tickling be seen as violence?

This may seem as a silly statement...

but here in the Uk.. we now have a brand new law which states that it is illegal to have pornographic images that are connected to violence..!

A friend of mine raised a quiet question with me...

In many of my videos for LGZ and my own website (www.englishfetishangels.com) ... I am restrained by being tied down and tickled to a point of almost being unable to breathe..

to me..this is fun and I love it.. but to others.. being tied down and not being able to breathe could be seen as violent..

are we breaking the new UK law?

Anyone else understand the law ?

it's a new law as a result of some guy killing some girl and he had lots of violent porn on his computer so the mother of the girl got goverment backing and hey presto, the uk goverment fuck it up again, tickling is viewed as a form of torture and if the "victim" is tied up then and unable to defend thenselves then it is now illegal...according to my mates dad who's a policeman. It's very silly but it's not as if they can police it, the only people who will suffer are uk producers who now cant ... Produce... I hate our goverment... Basically if you look like your suffering in anyway weather you are or not then it's a no go,the law comes into play within this week or the next...

And so we take yet another step towards 1984....awesome...

i guess this means some of my favorite bondage sites in the UK are gonna go the way of the do-do. suck.

It's not all bad news. Although the law is fucking annoying, US servers will not be affected.

It will essentially be like the cannabis prohibition law. No one makes a big deal out of it normally - however, if you get prosecuted for some other reason, they can hold it against you if they have evidence that you've got violent porn on your hard drive.

But seriously...tickling? I mean, what court would believe that it is violent? And it will never actually get to the courts, because it costs too much for such a litttle offence.

I do feel for the UK producers though - I can't believe that fucktard of a woman, did she not know that correlation does not neccesarily mean connection? *Sigh*

If anyone wants to find out more, go to http://www.backlash-uk.org.uk, which is an information website regarding BDSM and British jurisdiction

Thanks artoo deetoo

That link for the UK law will be a great help...

You are a wealth of interesting knowledge..

My website is USA hosted so it doesn't effect me or any of the other EFA girls..

it is a prime example of the silyness of the nanny state we are allowing ourselves to become in the UK.

cant smoke cigs anywhere outside your home, cant do this, cant do that, now possibly some tickling fetish vids will be illigal...america isnt the only place overrun by nazis i see..soon it will be everywhere. just give me my time machine and ill go back to a time when things were normal and live in peace...jeez.

If anyone feels that they are under threat from the law due to the violent porn on your hard drive (lol), you can buy high security encryption software for your computer. Virtually uncrackable, it would take months to decode it without a password. And they won't want to spend that much time and effort doing it - it's not worth their time.

There are details on the backlash website, and at http://www.informedconsent.co.uk.

what i thinks really unfair about this unless i'm mistaken... Is that people who paid out alot of money for this material previous to it being against the law now automatically have illegal porn on they're computers... Why should they have to get rid of things they paid for just because the law changed? I mean they paid for it while it was legal.. Stupid! Unless i've misread it or something... Or else "a friend" of mine has 15gb's of illegal material on his computer all of a sudden...

xionking..

I think the last chapter in mankinds life of gov. rules will be...

"No breathing allowed..as the transferal of germs will be seen as assault and well-being bodily harm.'

I believe this is very. very bad, and a huge blow to those of you in the UK. It means that the government can selectively prosecute anybody they don't like (such as members of a political party not in power at any given moment) for having utterly harmless tickling "porn" on their home computer. :sowrong:

to get the perspective of a fetish company in the UK, i shot an e-mail to the webmaster of such sites as restrainedelegance.com and jasminesinclair.com. here's what he had to say:

Hi,

I can't speak for other sites but I have no intetion of changing content or
shutting down. I haven't yet seen the final wording of the act but based
on the wording of previous versions as they went through Parliament
I do not think that any of the images we produce on Restrained Elegance
comes anywhere close to being covered by the law.

Essentially the law covers:
* sex with an animal
* sex with a corpse
* an act which threatens a person's life
* an act which results in serious injury to a person's anus, breasts or genitals.

The law was initially VERY badly worded and I hope that the final amendments
have improved matters, we'll just have to see what the final wording is like.
It was certainly recognised that the law could have resulted in stupid situations
like someone taking a photograph of themselves engaged in a consensual
legal sexual act, then become criminal for having that image in their possession.

As a publisher, nothing much has changed- I still have to abide by the
Obscene Publications Act, same as always. Since I'm pretty sure none
of our images are obscene, I also don't think they come anywhere close
to being covered by the new law. The odd damsel-in-distress or
virgin sacrifice set has such unrealisatic peril that I don't see how anyone
could believe for a moment that the person's life was threatened by the
blunt letter-opener or sinister rubber snake in the photo. And we don't use
stuff which causes serious injury to anyone- some whip marks that fade in
less than an hour can surely not count for that, nor can rubber-tipped
nipple clamps which demonstrably don't cause any injury when removed.

I'm not a lawyer, but it seems to me that none of the stuff we do on RE
is likely to cause problems under the new law.

Cheers, Hywel Phillips

webmaster & photographer
RestrainedElegance.com

hope this helps clear things up a bit.

That's a horrible law! I mean... most people are going to have some kind of fetish or fantasy that could be seen as violent. Spanking, bondage, something! >.< I hope it's not enforced... unfortunately, murderers are going to hurt people no matter what kind of porn they watch.

cloudgazer

Thanks for that..

i knew the law was so abigious that it would be impossible to define..

I have a tickle video on my website that has two girls shooting guns at each other and then capturing each other and tickling each other.. it is a gun and girl rambo theme.. the guns are plastic and the special effects are good.. but by no means does it look like a real fir-fight from Vietnam! The tickling is great and I really enjoyed doing it..the key is.. that it never loks like anyone is in danger at all..

the only danger is having a good time..

it is just such a shame that we have such laws at all..

hm, good plan contacting a producer its cool to see what theyve been told etc, he missing out some of the wording tho..either that or he hasnt read the bill yet... but in addition to what hes written its not only that you cant do anything resulting in serious injury, you also cant do anything that looks like it might, which is fcuking pathetic of them, i imagine its so that producers cant claim that it wasnt really hurting and that it was fake... covering up loop holes and such but its still stupid , im most enraged by this law, it sucks ASSS!!!!

If you are a UK resident or expatriate, you can sign a petition to remove the bill.

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/extreme-images/

Those are utter BOLLOCKS!

Remember last year, they wanted to introduce "pay per mile" tax for driving?

2.5MILLION people voted against it using the online petition, and the goverment STILL said "we're going to give it a test run"

Doesnt matter how many people sign these things, nobody takes any notice
