49ers fans have to feel terrible that they have faded in oblivion while the Cowboys have continued to be one of NFL's marquee teams

LOL!

Wow, seriously?!

As a hardcore/long-time 49ers fan, the loss was disappointing, but even I will admit that, even with the addition of Harbaugh, the 49ers stink right now.

And, in typical nature, Cowgirl fans are full of boast and bravado about how "epic" this win was for them.

Memo to obnoxious Dallas fan: You BARELY beat a bad team....a team that was kicking your ass the entire game. This is not something to be proud of. This is, rather, a sign that your organization is nowhere near the quality that it has been in the past.

If the Cowgirls were truly one of the "NFL's marquee teams", they would have taken care of the Niners before halftime.

I mean, it always sucks to lose to the Cowgirls, but at least we saw our team show signs of slight improvement from last year's abortion. As for the Girls, You've been trying to do something with Tony Homo for....how long now? You've been strutting around calling yourselves elite for how long now? How many times have you spent a season beating your chest with crushed beer cans and empty dip containers only to be humiliated en route to the playoffs?

I wonder if it's actually Dallas who's beginning to fade.

As it is, they (and their fans) already celebrate beating bad teams like they just won the superbowl....that's surely a sign of something right there.

The Cowboys are one of the NFL's marquee team. In fact they are thee marquee team. The 49ers were in that group at one time when things were going well for them and the Cowboys. Neither team has been able to come close to the success of the 90's yet Dallas still gets scheduled to play 5-or-6 primetime games each season and continue to lead the league in TV ratings and revenue.

The 'Boys made a great comeback yesterday. Tony Romo and the defense got it together in the 4th quarter and overtime. I haven't noticed anyone celebrating as if a championship was won. I did notice all of the Cowboy fans in that stadium yesterday. Anyway, on to the Redskins.

Really? Smacked Around? How can you smack a team around if you're losing by 10 points, then have to barely beat the team in OT? The Cowgirls were fortunate. You do realize they were favored to win right? For 3.5 quarters, the Niners were the better team.

Let's face it. 49er fans know our team isn't championship material. For some reason people believe the Cowboys are. Tony Romo made a comeback against a WEAK team. You see him crumble under pressure when he faces the good teams. The Cowboys won't win the Super Bowl for a while. The Niners will win one before they do.

Actually, I hope the Niners lose the rest of their games if we're not going to make the playoffs. That way we can get Harbaugh's pride and joy, Andrew Luck. Then we will see a pure beatdown of the Cowboys when they play next year...Give us a QB and we blow you out...

I agree that Dallas didn't smack around the 49ers yesterday. They had to dig deep to get back in the game and I didn't feel too good about needing a 48-yard field goal to take the game into overtime.

Every other statement you made I have to question.

1. No one has called Dallas championship material this season. Everything that I've seen and heard about Dallas had them finishing 3rd in the division this season, at best winning a wild card. People have cooled down on the Dallas to the Super Bowl talk.

2. The 49ers winning the Super Bowl before Dallas. You last statement, "give us a QB," says it all. You don't have a QB and it's been that way for a long time now. And chances are you won't be in position to pick an Andrew Luck next year. Dallas has a QB capable of taking them to the Super Bowl. They have many pieces in place to get there. And Dallas has won division titles, a playoff game, and were the best team in the conference in recent seasons. So why are the 49ers going to win a Super Bowl before Dallas? Do you realize that would require getting past teams a lot tougher than the Seahawks, Rams, and Cardinals?

3. Give us a QB? What would Dallas get to wish for in return? A young star receiver being healthy enough to play in that game? Having all three of our top corners healthy for the game? The 49ers didn't lose the game because they were only lacking a competent QB. They lost because Dallas is the better team, even with so many key players injured.

The Boys had 472 yards of offense the Niners had 206

A bad snap not only bounced exactly right not to cause a turnover but gave you a td on a penalty

you kicked a 55 fg

No Newman, Scandrick, Bryant , Nagy, and during game Jones gets hurt and was useless and starting center Costa leaves the game and doesnt comeback

Oh and Romo comes back with a fractured rib and punctured lung .

49ers had everything bounce their way and still got beat

Lighten up dude... just having a little fun; I certainly never called it an epic win. Everyone looked at this when the schedule came out and penciled in a W for the 'boys.

Here's why the Niners will win a title. For the last decade, we have had to deal with incompetent owners and incompetent coaches (Mike Nolan being the biggest one...). We drafted Alex Smith instead of Aaron Rodgers. But, we have put together a pretty solid team. We have the second best middle linebacker behind Ray Lewis in the NFL in Patrick Willis. We have a solid core of guys. On offense, Frank Gore is a beast. Our line is getting better. Our receiving corps is pretty good. The one thing that kills us is the QB position.

Dallas on the other hand has had boatloads of talent. What have they done with all that talent? Absolutely nothing. Eventually, because they won't win anything meaningful (i.e. playoff games), that team will break up. Tony Romo is a good QB, but he tends to collapse in the clutch. Dallas is not "Super Bowl" talk, but they are favored to make the playoffs. But they keep choking year in, year out. They had one of the best coaches in the history of the NFL and did not win one single playoff game under him. The Cowboys should have been to the mountaintop and them some. But they keep choking. The Niners are now putting together their franchise again. Give us a quality QB (non-Romo like on top of that) and you will see a considerable difference.

The Niners can be in position for Andrew Luck. The fact that we still have Alex Smith makes that all possible.

How was Dallas the best team in the NFC in recent seasons? Are you serious? Can you please tell me how they were the best team in the NFC in recent seasons. I sure don't remember them going deep in the playoffs, do you?

You know what Dallas gets to wish for in return? A way to not choke when the pressure is on. That's the only thing they need really. They also need a team "leader". No one on that team is the "alpha dog". Until that happens, the Cowboys will go bust each and every year. By the time they realize Romo isn't the answer, the Niners will be hoisting the Lombardi for the 6th time...

So how did the Cowboys smack the Niners around? You guys won, but you were supposed to win. BIG. Dallas almost choked another one up. You should say "Cowboys beat the Niners!" not "Cowboys smack around the 49ers." Big difference...

Blah blah blah...

bottom line is the Cowboys BEAT the 49ers; complaining about the verbage is irrelavent. Whats really nice is your two favorite teams are now officially my two favorite teams '' whipping boyz'' .

Cowboys beat the Niners & Mavs sweep the Lakers right out of the playoffs. aw hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

It was this title that got my attention too. By no means did the Niners get "smacked around" but they did lose. However, the Cowboys were only 3 point favorites. That's not exactly a "BIG" favorite (try Pittsburgh -14 vs Seattle). The bookmakers were figuring on this being a close game. It was.

I have never been a Cowboys fans and STILL think they are one of the stupidest teams in the NFL. They just do some really dumb things that cost them way too many games. They shoot themselves in the foot with way too many stupid unnecessary penalties or turn the ball over (by their own doing I might add) at the most critical times. It's only a matter of time before they get a flag for excessive celebration or bumping another player or something else totally stupid. Until they resolve their own stupidity I tend to agree the Niners should win a title before Dallas.

You can't "choke" a game that you didn't lead until the very end.

You can't point to anything that the Cowboys have done this season to characterize them as a stupid team. Your statement lacks knowledge of what Dallas has done and will continue to do to improve in many areas of this team.

Ok since you put it that way..

fact: Dallas should easily be 2-0. They are not. Why??

fact: Dallas handed a gift-wrapped Christmas present to the Jets by what?? b-e-i-n-g s-t-u-p-i-d and shooting themselves in the foot when it counted most. Very smart special teams football and outstanding goal line offense execution. Tom Landry would be proud.

fact: A favored Dallas team struggled against a Niner team, even though stats would suggest should not have happened. This is a game in which some fans said it "Wouldn't surprise them if it were over by halftime". Yet the blowout went to OT. Smart football indeed.

I'd say that's pretty much "knowledge of what Dallas has done".

That was a gutsy win for Romo and the Cowboys. I didn't think they'd be in that position at the end considering the shaky offense in the first half. Then the missed 'extra point' length field goal.

As a Cowboys fan, I would hardly say the smacked around the 49ers. They managed a win with a ligit championship quality QB. Oh, and Jesse Holley and Miles Austin helped. Bring on the Redskins!

What team doesn't turn the ball over?

Winnging by three points on the road is not something a stupid football team would do.

The only issue Dallas has right now is getting healthier.

They're practicing well and doing everything that is expected of them by the coach Garrett. The past eight games for this team have been decided by three points. They've been competitive in every game they've played since Jason Garrett took over midway through the 2010 season. Coach Garrett came in right away and implemented his brand of tough, smart football with the changes he made. It's still a work in progress but the team is buying into what he's done and the proof is in how the players approach the games. It will only get better with time.

You've got to come better than this.

What team doesn't turn the ball over?

It's not a matter of turning the ball over, it's when they turn the ball over. Successful teams do not turn the ball over in crucial game situations. Somehow Dallas tends to do this.

Winnging by three points on the road is not something a stupid football team would do.

Never having the lead the entire game against an inferior team you were supposed to "smack around" IS something a stupid team would do. They got the "W" I'll give them that. But having to beat a team the caliber of San Fran in overtime isn't exactly genius.

The only issue Dallas has right now is getting healthier.

They also need to learn to snap the ball correctly and have the receivers learn which side of the offensive line they need to be on when the play begins. Coach Garrett might also teach his players to actually get out of bounds when they need to conserve the clock. This team has way more issues than just 'getting healthy'.

Having to pull a 3rd and 20+ straw out of your butt to keep from losing to a mighty team like the Redskins at home, doesn't exactly impress me. Keeping games close and being 'competitive' when you should be winning games outright against inferior competition isn't exactly a proud accomplishment either. If this is the best Garrett can do Dallas will be looking for a new coach again in the near future.

You've got to come better than this.

I think you've got that backwards. I've come with plenty that tells me Dallas is struggling to get wins against lesser teams and they are having trouble even with basic alignments and snap counts. A win is a win and they are keeping their head above water. The question is how long can a team be lucky? I would rather be a good team and win by talent and win decisively when I play inferior teams. Luck is only going to get a team so far. Dallas had better smarten up or they will never survive in the long run.

Dude, your a Cowboy hater we get that . However please do your research before you randomly spew incorrect opinions.

Cowboys used backup and waiver wire wrs because of injuries

Costas said the Redskins defensive line were mimicking Romo by calling out the snap count . This is illegal and sideline microphones did pick this up and Cowboys organization has filed a complaint with the league. Guess the Pats aren't the only team that cheats

Am I a hater? Or am I just stating facts Cowboys fans do not want to hear? Everything I stated is fact. No matter where the receivers are from aren't they supposed to know where to be on the field - before they take the field? I believe it's called coaching. As far as the snap count joke, I'm sure the Redskins are the only team in the history of the NFL to try this. Sounds to me like early excuses from a team struggling against bad teams. Let's count the playoff wins by both the Redskins and Niners in the last five years..

Bottom line is Dallas is struggling against inferior teams. However, a win is a win. Enjoy it and be proud.
