Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation

Supposed to be an FDA-approved drug-free way to balance the neurotransmitters in the brain (which is what antidepressants are supposed to do). Here's a link to the article on it in wikipedia, and to alpha-stim which seems to be the leading distributor of these gizmos. They're pricey and inside the USA you need a prescription from a doctor to get one. Just wanted to get feedback from anyone who knows anything about this technology or has used it. Thanks.
