So, it's painfully limited in what it can do. It's "manga". They want personal info so they can spam you (I sent it to my spam-catcher email). They want you to pay money. I mean... the fact that you have to disable your popup blocker, a browser security feature to read the privacy statement makes me laugh.
The fact that the site is obviously Italian and they're selling Japanese art stuff makes me laugh harder. Why not "Here's your avatar in the style of the badass old Diabolk comics?" Europe has turned out some really awesome pop and pulp art in the last century... why doesn't anybody ever seem to care about that anymore?
So... here we go. For comparison. Myself, as generated by the Mangaconfabulator, and by a human artist, then Rya Codreanu by the Mangabomb and then by the same human artist.
I don't think I'm going to stop thinking that pictures drawn by humans are better than Flash games on the intarwebs.
The flash game didn't give me an obvious way to customize skin tone. Due to that, Rya's skin is far too dark. You also lose a lot of the detail in her design. She's about half Roma (that's Ethnic Gypsy for all of the uneducated) but she comes out looking like she isn't. Yes, I know it's strange that someone is half gypsy, and is pale, but that's just how the cookie crumbles. Suck it up and deal.
In fact, neither of us look like who we are in the flash versions. We look like "just another generic animu character". Bleh. Spare me.
My final summation is that these folks are crazy for trying to sell this crud.
