Speed isn't always the best option
Going through the tomb of some long forgotten deity, the Mighty Nein found themselves in a long spiral staircase mostly hidden from view by some ethereal fog. When the doors behind them closed they knew they fjucked up. Every member went into frenzied dash down they staircase before they would have to figure out what the ominous humming sound was.
Beau dashed down with her crazy monk abilities she had just recently learned to use properly. Jester turning into an eagle picked up Yasha and flew in pace with Beau. The guys in the party and Nott lagged behind because Clay and Caleb were still figuring out what exactly just happened.
Still darting down the stairs sudenly a foggy form appeared behind the girls. Seeing they were simply going too fast the creature turned it's attention towards the party higher up the stairs.
The first jolt made impact. A sudden surge of electrical current rampaged through the Nein. Still slightly shocked the girls realized they needed to disable whatever this thing was. Beau decided her best course of action was a straight dive down. Jester quickly followed with Yasha in her claws.
With quite some luck and some great feats of agility Beau managed to land somewhat unscathed. Seeing the pillar with the blue crystal Beau quickly checked to see if this thing had some off switch. It did.
Thrusting her hand into the crevice she took a full blast of electricity when she grabbed hold of the little lightning rod powering up the pillar.
After aquiring the rod the girls scanned the room and found a door with a very rod like shaped hole. Beau, being as impatient as she is inserted it. The door slowly slid open to reveal a large room. Jester reverted back to her cute blue Tiefling form and entered first. Yasha and Beau followed suit.
A small shift in the floor beneath Jesters feet sent an audible clicking sound through the room. The doors behind them slammed shut. The room was pitch black and dead silent. Even with dark vision the girls couldn't see much more than ten feet in front so they carefully shuffled around.
Suddenly Beau was stopped in her tracks. Two hands shot from the soft dirt floor, grabbing her ankles. The same happened with Yasha who was almost tackled to the ground by a full arm emerging from the floor. Slamming down she took Jester down with her.
The intrepid trio suddenly realized that the whole room was wriggling around. Jester and Yasha quickly felt more hands on their bodies while Beau saw four shambling corpses shuffle towards her. Dried out and bony, these didn't look like the regular zombies they fought.
Yasha and Jester were struggling to get free but even the strongest members of the Nein couldn't compete with dozens of hands. Beau readied up for the first wave om zombies to hit her when she felt herself being lift off the ground by two strong arms behind her. Almost instantly she was pulled in a stretched position, hindering any attacks she would have excecuted.
A small giggle escaped from Jester when a hand firmly grasped at her side. Beau and Yasha hearing this started squirming even harder. They all remembered what happened last time when they were in this situation.
It was to no avail. Yasha immediatly went into a fit of laughter when a pair of hands started clawing at the back of her knees. Beau felt multiple fingers start to squirm around in her monk styled foot wraps. She should really consider wearing boots at this point, she thught.
More hands appeared at Jesters sides and they quickly clued in on how to make her squirm even more. Poking and prodding at her sides sent Jester into a flurry of girly giggles. Yasha also felt more hands attack her vulnerable upper body. Multiple bony fingers prodding around her bellybutton and gently cruising over her ribs. The fact that her arms were down was only a small mercy because the fingers at the ribs could just wiggle around and sent her howling with loud laughter.
Beau was now very aware of her very revealing outfit when the first wave of zombies got to her. About six pairs of hands quickly went to work on her upper body. Not the most methodical or accomplished of ticklers given that they probbly lost most of their brain over the years, there was still some technique left in their movements. Some of them simply squeezed her sides but some managed to weave intricate paths across her toned belly and very exposed armpits.
Jester felt a few of the hands tug at her boots. She quickly knew where this was going but there was very little she could do about it since most of her spells required a modicum of concentration. After her boots fell the situation quickly worsened for the poor blue girl. Very deft and dainty hands went to work on her sensitive soles. Walking around in heavy boots all day made her feet very soft to the touch. From circling patterns to simply raking fingernails across her soles, the sensation was maddening.
Yasha wasn't faring much better. A soft voice in her head taunted her as the tickly sensations were driving her insane.
"I hope you enjoy my entertainment for the evening Orphanmaker"
This small reprieve of the tickling gave Yasha a split second to react. Her big black wings shot out from underneath her, giving her just the edge to free herself and Jester from the wriggling implements of torture on the floor. Jester quickly grasped her symbol of the Traveller and cast a devastating turn undead spell. Those closest to them instantly exploded, sending Beau tumbling down as well. Quickly righting herself she, alongside the other girls made short work of the seemingly endless horde moving towards them.
About to be overrun again two surges of green energy and the distinct voice of Fjord yelling "Ellllldritch Bleaaast" lit up the room. Crossbow bolts and fireballs came flying through the now reopened door.
After figuring out what to do the Nein managed to placate whatever force kept these zombies coming. Out of breath and panting the three girls dropped down into a pile of corpses, totally exhausted from their ordeal.
"Say Jessy, why are your boots off. Taking pointers from Beau now ?" Fjords voice asked.
Quickly putting her boots back on Jester stood back up and quickly changed the subject to hamster unicorns. A knowing look to the girls made it clear that this was another encounter not to be shared with the guys. Being constantly tickled by the enemy is enough. Wouldn't want to give the guys any ideas.
After the dome was put up and the Nein decided to bed down Jesters amulet of the Traveller got a bit warmer and a distant chuckle sounded in her head.
"You are almost ready my dear acolyte. Almost ready."
To be continued whenever I find a better scenario that can be twisted to somewhat be in canon.
