Chicago Cubs Eliminated from the Post Season today.
One cursed team down.......The Red Sox close behind but at least IN the playoffs for now.
See ya next year Cubs!
🙄

TTD

Yeah TTD, that is unfortunately the case. However, with a fully healthy pitching staff, and a couple of readjustments, and the Sammy Sosa of old returning, the Cubs will be a difference maker next year😀

Pretty soon, Natural, you're gonna tire of trying to convince everyone, including yourself, that the Cubbies are gonna win next year. Why don't you give it up, it will increase your lifespan considerably!

George F. Will once said that a Cubs fan is mostly scar tissue. Why add to it? Poor you, you don't even have the White Sox to turn to. Perhaps stuffing the tailpipe with a rag might be a better alternative...😛

If I were a Cubs fan, I would've done this back on that Sunday afternoon in San Diego when Rick Sutcliffe blew it...after all, what would there have been to live for afterwards?

All I can say about this is one thing. Iam a Braves fan, and my team was responsible for eliminating the Cubs. The look on Greg Maddux's face in the Cub dugout on Friday afternoon made me think of one thing. WHY DID YOU LEAVE ATLANTA??? So far, the three pitchers who left Atlanta, Maddux, Glavine, and Millwood, have a combined zero division titles for their new teams, while the Braves, (abit with having Maddux last year) have two. Everyone should just stay in Atlanta, regardless of money, because all they do is win and get to the playoffs.Isnt that the goal in baseball, to reach the postseason, and try to win? Sometimes I do think both the Red Sox and Cubs are cursed, but I dont know. As for the Cubs, there is always next year.

Someone is a HUGE Braves homer...🙄 Not gonna mention any names though..

You are lucky the Braves arn't play the Cards in the first round because they would be done quickly.

I think the Cubs need new management, they have plenty of talent, but they can't win. Anyway, go Braves.

The Cubs were in the wild card hunt up till the last several weeks. I think if Wood and Prior were healthy all year, they would have been in a much better position, even win the NL centeral.

You know, Knox, it would be easier to give up on them if they had below .500 teams. They have built a nucleus for an extended streak of success. Just need a little tinkering on a couple positions and we will finally win

And one more thing, I will never give up cheering on my Cubs

btw Knox, if ya don't want me talking about the Skins' (God knows they suck) then talking about my Cubs is prohibited😛
