I remember him well from my youth. MLB should be deeply ashamed that this man is not enshrined in Cooperstown. R.I.P. Ron.

A terrible loss for Cubs fans. And let's face it, 70 is too young.

I was saddened to hear of Santo's death. He had many health problems, and was a courageous man.

Also, Santo might have been one of the best players not to get to the Hall of Fame. It will be interesting to see if the Veterans Committee would ever vote him in posthumously.
