Well, most computers have paintshop on them as a default program. Although paintshop is limiting, and not enough. What you would probably need is photoshop. And you can download a free trial verson of it at http://www.adobe.com/

I have a question for you though Ticklish_Boy16!,is there any particular style or look you want to eventually achieve? Depending on what you want, photoshop may or may not be for you.

Doesn't Photoshop come with Animation Shop? Thats always good for making animated Gifs ^^x

I'm not sure. Although I know that Paintshop Pro 7 comes with Animation Shop 3, since I bought it.
