Is someone who has a tickle fetish usually also have a foot fetish? I am just learning of my boyfriend's tickling fetish and I would like to learn more about it so that I can understand why he is into it and perhaps get into it a little myself. I myself am very ticklish when he holds my arms and legs down and feel like I can't get free. How does someone come to have a foot/tickle fetish?

I can`t speak for anyone else,but I believe I was born with a tickle fetish.As far back as I can remember,I`ve fantasized about being held down/restrained and being tickled mercilessly.It`s something I`ve lived with all of my life,and I can`t ever imagine not being like this!

I`m sure that there are others out there who have different routes to their tickling fetish,but regardless of how we arrive here,as long as we are realistic in dealing with our fetish,there shouldn`t be too much of a problem.This goes for other fetishes as well.

I don't have any data to back this up , but judging from the amount of foot-content in clips , stories , pics , & 'toons ( & from the amount of "complaining" that there's too much of said content from all the upperbody-people ... LOL just kiddin' , y'all ) , I'd say that MOST people who have a tickling-fetish also have a foot-fetish. Don't know why that it is ... it just seems to work out that way.

On the other hand , not all foot-fetishists have a tickling-fetish. A lot of 'em are into foot-worship , foot-bondage , foot-torture , bastinado , trampling , foot-jobs , POV-shots , food-smushing , etc. I'm sure that w/a lot of foot-fetishists , tickling feet is the last thing that comes to mind.

As far as "how does someone come to have a foot/tickle-fetish" ... well , not sure I have the answer for that. I think that most of us are simply just 'wired' that way ... i.e. we were born w/it & we 'discovered' it about ourselves at some point.

I've talked to a few people on this forum who have said they were 'converted' to having a tickling-fetish. I suppose that's possible , too ... but I think that goes along w/my previous thought that it's just something that they probably always had within themselves ... never knew/thought about it ... but finally got around to realizing it about themselves via someone tickling them & then feeling that certain way or watching someone else get tickled & then feeling that certain way. I'm not entirely convinced that one can make oneself have a foot/tickling-fetish ... or make someone else have one , for that matter.



....... or it's more than possible that I have no idea what I'm talking about.

It is my observation that the majority of people with a tickle fetish also have a foot fetish, while a sizable mnority are interested mostly in upperbody tickling.

As far as how one gets these interests, I can't help you, as I have had both as far back as I can remember, which is back to age four.

I read somewhere that a foot fetish can have something to do with parents/siblings walking around barefoot alot when we where only babies crawling along, and thus one of the only things we saw of other people were their feet.
But, theoreticaly, this would mean that like 90% of the population would have a foot fetish...cause millions of babies see feet. Meh i duno, maybe its something to do with sexual awareness and seeing feet coincidentaly coinsiding.

Welcome tickledpink!!! Although I cant answer the question of how does someone come to have a foot/tickle fetish because I dont know, for myself, it is a fetish. Like you, I met someone who does have the passion and respect that. Because I love this person, I made myself available to his love of tickling. I am glad I did because I have found that I thoroughly enjoy it. It doesnt consume me 24/7 but it is on my mind alot of the time when I think of seeing him. I even find myself thinking of things we can do, tickle play wise, when we are together. Just my opinion but instead of trying to dig deep and find out why....just lie, sit, or stand and enjoy every minute of it.

tickledpink00, for myself, the fetishes came in two parts. I have had a foot fetish since about the age of five. For some reason, around that time, I started asking babysitters to smell their feet. Most of them probably thought I was a silly kid, so they said yes. From then on, anytime I saw a barefoot older girl or woman, I got an excited feeling, even if not sexual, yet.
The tickling didnt come until much, much later. I began reading articles, in leg magazines, about tickling, in my teens. Slowly, they grew on me. In 1997, I answered an ad of a straight male into tickling, and began exchanging letters with him. My pen pal told me of his tickle fetish, and described his past tickling experiences with his girlfriends. Through my knowing him, I got more into talking about tickling, and was like "Wow, ticklish girls, really cool". From there, my tickle interest, turned into a fetish.
I think fetishes can develop in many ways, and at different times of life. Some people believe it stems from childhood. For me, the foot fetish did, but when I was little, I had no clue that tickling could be exciting.
That's how my interests came about.

I appreciate your questions because trying to answer them helps me better understand my foot and tickling fetishes.

I can't really say how I developed my foot fetish since I always remember being interested in people's feet. Initially both male and female and then only female after I hit puberty when feet became more of a sexual fixation.

I have been trying to think about a good analogy to describe what having a foot fetish is like for me. I think that the best way to describe it would be this. Imagine if you woke up tomorrow and suddenly about half of the all members of the opposite sex came to work and/or school wearing nothing but a pair of shoes and a smile. Add to the fact that no one else found this the least bit unusual. Now for me, it would be just the opposite. Everyone is fully clothed, but about half the woman at the office where I work are barefoot (meaning no socks or nylons) and are wearing sandals or flip-flops and often kick off their shoes while in their cubes, or sometimes walk around barefoot. I can't say why I feel this way, but it is pretty much hard wired.

As for my tickling fetish, I think that it was more formed or at the very least shaped by some of my childhood experiences as well as what I was exposed to while growing up. It probably grew out of my foot fetish. I remember watching TV and movies when growing up and whenever tickling was shown, it was almost always someone being tickled on their foot with a feather. Actually, as I am typing this I realized that a lot of the fantasies that I have about tickling came from scenes that I witnessed growing up or things that I saw on TV as I was growing up, which as I grew older became part of my fetish.

There is the fantasy of tickling a woman's foot in a situation where she couldn't react because she was on the phone or hiding from someone.
(First saw it on Scooby Doo when Shaggy had his foot tickled while pretending to be a statue. Also on The Little Rascals when Alfalfa was lying on a bed with his leg hanging through a whole in the matress. The idea was that he would have a false leg in the bed and say that he lost all feeling in it. The only problem was that some kittens were under the bed licking his bare foot while he was trying to explain to the bully that he had no feeling.)

The other fantasy that comes to mind would be finding a woman in a vulnerable (ticklish) position and after I find her, she says something that she shouldn't have and then comes to the realization of just how vulnerable and ticklish she is. (First saw it on the Flintstones, when Fred has a fence dropped on his legs during an argument and then after realizing his feet are trapped on the other side asks his neighbor, "Oh you wouldn't do that, you wouldn't tickle my feet would ya?")

So I guess in my case you could say that my tickle fetish grew from the seeds planted by the media in the fertile ground of that was my foot fetish. 🙂

As for me, my T-fetish was born from feet-tickling, but further developed into strictly-upperbody. And now I have absolutely nothing of F-fetish.
