Alright, following the recent journal entry on dA, trying an opinion here.
Drew this one originally, gah, back sometime in fall or summer 2013, just recently gave it an inking (unsure if I'll shade, color or just give up on it). Somewhat rarely seen OC Mryine Scyleia (a bit of a pirate-thief type with possibly a gypsy background now) in a bit of a bind.
See, she apparently encountered a rival or villain of some sort as she was 'investigating' (read: plundering) some hidden shrine or cave somewhere that contained a large pile of rune-covered ingots of precious metal. Said rival/baddie knocked Myrine out and then had a nasty idea: the black-haired woman was bound with rope to a bench/stool of some sort and her bare feet here propped up atop a pair of ingots that were deliberately left behind. It seems there's apparently a curse associated with stealing the loot...and just as Myrine comes to, that curse starts focusing on the closest thing to the bars. Cue magically floating feathers on vulnerable quivering soles.
I half-planned perhaps for this image to be part of a longer tale, perhaps with the 'curse' manifesting as a cute ghost/guardian that only Myrine could see (at first) and continually...presses her to recover the rest of the stolen loot since she's not really the guilty party here (or else, well, you can guess). *shrugs*
Perspective-based, no background for now, the usual.
Now, for the 'opinion'. I'm attaching three versions with just a minor edit to the facial region. Which do you guys prefer?
1 - (original drawn version) Surprised laughter
2 - annoyed/pissed eyes, laugh/yelling
3 - same eyes/expression as 2, but with the addition of a cloth gag over her mouth/between her teeth
