Now, dont get me wrong here, this is not to offend anyone, and if it does, I a shall heroically stand behind my defence that its currently...*checks his clock*....3am over here, and that I'm very, very tired, but....

Whats the point? Or rather, where does the attraction lie? I cannot find it myself, and I'm utterly baffled by people who's main contribution to a chat room is to type "ahahahaha (etc)" in response to someone else's message saying "I tickle her feet". Again, not an attack on such people here, but....*sigh*....whats it all about?

I don't wish to be overly cynical, but let me put it this way: Before the internet existed, there were magazines about tickling. What was the point of reading them, or looking the pictures in them? Some people read them with one hand.

I presume that some people engage in cyber tickling with only one hand on the keyboard.

I agree, it is used to play out a fantasy, though I personally don't know what you get out of "typing." What really puzzles me is when I get an email or instant message from someone and all they are interested in, is cyber tickles. They have no interest in meeting real people. Some of these same people have actually decided I wasn't worth talking to since I won't cyber tickle with them.

Hey to each their own, but I just don't get it. 😕

Cyber tickling is a great way to "explore" other people before possibly meeting them in person.

So you can tickle in certain ways or parts of the body and note how they react BEFORE you actually meet in person.

I have done this with every lady that I have met and by the time we got to tickle each other, it didn't feel like the first time we tickled at all...I just knew that spot rigth below her big toe was killer!

But Cyber tickling just to Cyber tickle well, lets just say I like the real contact between two or more people...

However, if geography keeps two people apart then Cyber may be the only way to get to "tickle" that person that you have become ticklishly close to 🙂

Do you read the stories in the story section? There aren't any pictures, you just use your imagination. Hopefully, some people are more detailed than "Hahahaha". Infact, I'm pretty sure they are -- on the ATF people used to post transcripts of stories/RPG's/Cyber Ticklings. You know, make a story by acting it out with a friend? Pretty neat stuff.

To me, it's theater. It is absolutely no substitute for having a real human being here in my den, trust me on this one. However, what it is to me (being generous and charitable) is a theater of the mind. It's whatever you make of it. It also helps having an imaginative person on the other end. If you don't, then it could turn into a real bore, and all you wanna do is go into Google and search for something you've been meaning to look for.
I don't even do it now, for the most part. Hahaha can get quite tedious.

I have mixed feelings about this subject. I don't like the idea of talking to someone when the ONLY thing they're interested in is cybertickling, especially if they want it to be very sexual. Now I'm not trying to offend anyone either. If tickling is a part of your sexual life great! It's a turn on for me too but I feel very uncomfortable in that situation because I have a boyfriend and I dont wish to be intimate with anyone but him. On the other hand, if I know someone somewhat well via computer, a little cyber tickle here or there can be fun 🙂 I know that when I used to frequent the chatroom I was one of those guilty of the hahahahah'ing in response to a cyber-tickle. I guess for me personally it all depends on the person and how well I know them and how comfortable I feel with the situation. If someone IM's me asking me to pretend I'm wearing a bikini, or worse nothing at all and they're tickling me...I'm 100% against it..but if it's just a little friendly cyber-poke...I think it's okay 🙂

Cyber-tk? No way. Does nothing for me. I go there to make freinds with people of the same mind like and discuss the attributes of our passion as well as current events and normal every day life chit-chat. Substance is important and that is what I am after in a friend/chat buddy. Like skipadee said...maybe a cyber poke once in a while is cool and fun...but more than that is just uninteresting to myself. For those that do enjoy it...kewl...that's why there is a pm function.

cyber tickling...everyone has different tastes I guess..it is fun to play around, but when they type in: *Tickles your stomach* it is boring...but if you go into more detail I guess it can be kinda fun and arousing for some people....Playing around in the chat room with that is kinda interesting sometimes. I prefer the real thing, but i dont see anything wrong with it unless it gets a lil "private" then it shouldnt be in the main room..or if there is a serious conversation going on, but I personally dont see anything terrible about it...Ok yes i have some stupid opinions

Bad enought to feel compelled to do it wih someone in a private chat, but it's so much worse to have to navigate around all this keypad manure while in the general chat room and trying to discuss.

On the one hand, they help convey something in absentia of vocal inflection

But at the same time they make everything kind of cartoony and we become slightly less useful with our imagination and intellect in sorting out the meaning of the words before us.

Combine the two and for me it's just stupid. So stop doing it!

In my opinion, cyber tickling can be as detailed as a well writen story. It all depends on who's doing it.

By the way, I don't usually partake in Cyber Tickling -- but I do sometimes role play online, so I can sort of see the idea.

I remember the first time I heard the term "cyber-tickle" I had no idea what it meant. A long time ago, some ladies from Texas posted somewhere that they wanted to start a cyber-tickles club, or something like that.

I'm not knocking it, but it's not my thing either. If I can't tickle someone in person, I'll just do without it.

This may seem odd, because I know many of you have seen me play in the main room, and I do it privately, too, and while I agree, nothing even comes close to real life tickling, some people like to play, and I'm willing to play along, Odder still may be the fact that I actually giggle when being cyber-tickled. Must be that psycological thing again (The reason I think the feather tickles so much). Anyway, that's just my $0.02.

Good question actually Admiral. I've thought about it a lot and here are my (very random) thoughts.


I don't personally "get off" on cyber-tickling, but what it does become for me, is a human equivalent of a peacock showing it's feathers. (The hippo equivalent is to poo and then flick it in the face of the one you fancy with your tail. Ewww.......)

I think there's quite a strong element of it being a chest-besting exercise for some guys, on occasions, even including my sainted self. It's also good for getting to know someone. After said session is finished I've often been asked "OMG, do you reeeallly do that to a lee?" (Those familiar with my particularly sadistic cybering techniques will understand.) When responding in the affirmative, I've often found it leads to chatting more, outside of the TMF chat room. Three times it's led to me meeting the lady in real life.

I guess at the end of the day, those who don't use it to "get off" use it in a way that someone will strip off in a nightclub and gyrate to the whooping and hollering of the onlookers.
