The Brooklyn Cyclones are a short-season class A minor league team playing in the New York-Penn League. They were created in 2001 and have been playing in a 7,000 seat stadium in Coney Island ever since.
I have been a season ticket holder of the Cyclones since the 2016 season.
Last night, for the first time, the Cyclones won the New York-Penn League championship:

It represents the first time that a championship has been won by any professional baseball team based in Brooklyn since 1955, when the Brooklyn Dodgers beat the New York Yankees in the World Series. And I was there.
