Darkstalker Parody

This is actually overdo, but its one in a series of Darkstalker pictures that I have planned in a parody-like theme.

It features Morrigan Aensland and her sister Lilith Aensland. My idea for this short series of pictures is based around the idea that Morrigan is under a spell and is being forced to do this. It was the only way I could get away with it I think without 'raping' the character of her persona.

Anywho, Lilith is/was asleep as this starts and isn't even aware of whats going on really. The following pictures will get better, and rest assured Lilith will get her revenge (thinking Morrigan is doing this intentionally).

@ HDS- Yeah, that the look I was going for. It would sort of be what someone would be going through when they are awaking to fing someone tickling their feet and licking them too. Shes too out of it to laugh, but blushing enough to be feeling it. I wanted to capture the moment right before the actual awareness.

I do have to admit though, this picture could have been better. I didn't spend nearly as much time as I probably should have with it. But as long as you all like it, I guess it doesn't matter. ^__^

On a side note, this is the first time I've ever drawn such an adult looking situation. I do realize its beyond what you'd normally expect from me, but I felt it was a necessary shift. Not that anyone is complaining. LOL

I am questioning how far I will take the tickling. I didn't want it to get too adult or vulgar, and I would stop at borderlining ecchi material.

The last thing I want is for these pictures to be seen as hentai (another reason I didn't want to pervert the characters or take it too far.) This definitely isn't what I'm used to, but it was a welcome change.

Well, I meant it more in the regard that you actually described your pic, half the time artists just post the pic, and your left without the actual artist's input. I always enjoy hearing it for myself.

As for the matter of them being hentai. I wouldn't worry about it, to be labeled hentai while, you'd have to go much farther.

@ FF7Tickler- Actually, thanks alot. Its good to know some people appriciate what I have to say about my art. What you said is true. Most artists just post the pic and are done with it. That leaves you to assume whats going on beside the obvious. I personally feel describing a bit of whats happening mentally/emotionally, as well as physically helps others to appriciate and understand the picture and characters in it (at least for any given situation).

I know this isn't hentai. I just don't want to go too far.

@ HDS- I'm like that with myself because if I'm not I feel I might 'go astray'. Theres no one telling me not to do it, so I'll do it for myself. I realise theres a pressure for more adult material. But it just isn't in my nature to create it to an extent. I feel its often unnecessary when artists include it actually. Theres other ways to grab people's attention too, and I prefer a more subtle, cute/sexy look as opposed to actual sex.

Of course, I'm just saying something I've probably said a million times by now. But it doesn't hurt to restate my stance. I'm not a prude however, and I'm not excluding adult material as an option. LOL ^___^

Well, I admit I like your thoughts on the matter. It sounds so deep as well.

Ah, yes, the placement of the feather in Morrigan's hand. I didn't particularily note that it would be used for that purpose as well, Lilith still has her pants on. I suppose your true on that manner, that it could easily be created in such a manner, but I doubt you could still claim it to be hentai, but more of an eroticism tickling picture.

As for what I've learned about hentai in my experience in the anime field it's this. There tends to be a formula for them.

1.) A hentai pic doesn't necessarily involve sex or nudity, just showing parts more prominently, like the nipples sticking out or increased breast size.

2.) Tentacles, or whatever the person comes up with tends to fit it, usually it isn't a matter of something consensual, atleast in doujinshi. Occasionally it is.

3.) No reserve for the actual characters' personalities.

#3, would be the most prominent point in this manner. You created a believeable scenario.

Most hentai stuff is just, I'm so incredibly horny, so lets do it. Characters personalities take no play, a shy character becomes quite forward and what not.

Just my thoughts.

1.) Yes, and I don't have a problem with showing nude breasts or nipples, I just haven't gotten around to drawing such a picture.

2.) Yes, tentacles, alien/monster/machine probes are a bit much and are really unnecessary and just go to show the perversion of the artists, animators, and/or their boss and his wish to have such material in the film or manga.

Actually, the bit with the feather near the crotch was done coincidentally. While I did intend for it to look like a possible tease of that region, I didn't intend for it to be seen as 'what was GOING to happen for sure'.

And as you pointed out, Lilith still has her leotard on, so tickling there wouldn't have seemed fun or realistic in this instance, unless of course I would have wished to imply that even the slighest touch would set the characters off. Not something I want.

Second, its also coincidental that this is nonconsensual. But it was done with the mindset of preserving the characters. The fact that Morrigan is under control and Lilith is bound does make it seem like its headed in a hentai direction.

3.) My rule of thumb when I'm going to draw what will be a sexy or suggestive picture is that I must find a tasteful way of doing it without creating smut. Hentai and doujinshi spare no expense. Something that seperates me from the perverts.

I hope I created a believable scenario. Depending on how someone looks at it, it could be taken any which way. People have to remember though that it is the artist's point thats the true and correct one.

And as for the last two sentences of your post, thats probably what aggrivates me most of all about hentai. Its not necessarily the act of sexual ludeness itself. Its more the corruption of shy, innocent, and/or pure characters.

Whats even worse than that is when the artist makes the character like it eventually, and they get into it, therefore becoming *****-like. It totally destroys the personality of the character and is a serious trespass in most cases.

Realistically I don't expect people to care. Hell, anime or just art in general is seen as simply 'ink on paper' for lots of people. They therefore have no conscience about the raping both physically and figuratively of characters both original and existing. Being an artist I have to care, lest I become what so many would like me to. I'm not all that good as an artist, but I still could do it. I know its costing me in terms of members and popularity that I don't go as deep into this as some artists here are willing to, but its a price I'm willing to pay for the most part. I don't draw to get people off, I draw to share and because I like to draw like this on the side.

Well I imagine not, that wouldn't be something I believe you'd do for sure, as nothing is really sure, in that kind of art I'd say.

Not necessarily, tickling half the time involves bondage if not playful. I'd say you'd would have had to put more to make it look like it's heading in that direction.

In what I've seen, yes, and that's assuming it hasn't destroyed the anime itself with it. Seeing characters just spartically appear in evil's hands for sexual punishment isn't that good.
