Dating vanilla while kinky — worth the effort?

I've dated a few vanilla slaves in the past years, and the relationships ended when my kinks came up. I'm wondering if it's worth trying again or just sticking to people in the lifestyle.

Not worth the effort in my experience. I wasted many years (in my 30's) dating vanilla women and introducing my kinky erotic interests later. It was never successful.

So, here's an odd take.

There's women I met on "dating sites" (Facebook, Pof, etc). These women wanted to date, but didn't care much about being tickled (even though I have a very good friend who likes it, but attraction).

There's women I've seen that look happy enough in pictures that I reach out and try to talk to them and if they talk, eventually I pull out the tickling card and it turns out they were interested in it before I came along.

Long story short, maybe you need to find someone who matches the element.

Now as far as dating ? Well, that's a anomaly.

I guess I've been lucky. I've never dated someone through a kink site, but all of the vanillas I've dated were pretty open-minded and typically had kinks of their own -- some of whom only figured them out through play. That being said, I've only been involved with one girl that specifically liked tickling.
