desire to tickle and attractiveness

Hi.

Here's a hypothesis I'm putting up for discussion. If you look at the "who do you want to tickle" polls and discussions, I generally assumed that individuals are voting for who they find most sexually attractive or desirable. Which makes sense.

But, as I got to thinking about myself, a lot of the people I find attractive, desirable, but unobtainable (actresses, models, whoever out there) are usually NOT the people I tend to have tickling-oriented thoughs about. For example, I really think the actress Jorja Fox is attractive (my wife thinks I'm nuts...), but I really don't have any tickling fantasies there.

So, I thought perhaps I'm not alone here. Of course, if I am, that's fine too. Does anybody else find a difference between who they'd want to tickle and who they find attractive?

This is an interesting observation. It describes me somewhat, but I have a slightly different spin to put on the situation. I do not have the desire to tickle every woman that I find attractive, but I generally do not think about tickling women in a sexual manner (for me, anyway) unless I first find them attractive. When I meet a woman, I make a quick assesment of her personality and whether it is conducive to tickling. Please note that this is a vague process and I have no set criteria for determining (in my view) a womans "ticklibility." It's just sort of my own gut instinct as to whether she'd be fun to tickle.

It's kind of the same thing with women I don't know and have absolutely no chance of meeting, such as celebrities. It all depends on their personality. I do watch movies, etc., and often thing to myself "damn, she's hot," but occasionally "damn, she'd be fun to tickle" accompanies the preceding interjection. I guess this is just me overanalyzing and making a way bigger deal out of things than I have to, so I guess I'm just wierd.😀

its so funny how this thread is posted just a day or two after i had actually had a conversation with a fellow tickler about this very topic,,i know that if i did not have this fetish to tickle and a foot fetish to boot life would be much simpler,, as most people i have a " type " a certain look that i am attracted to,,some like blondes,, some like brunettes and so on,, my fetishes cause the line to blur somewhat,,sometimes ill see a girl that i wouldnt look at twice,, wouldnt give her a second thought,, not being arrogant or self centered just being real,, but if she happens to have cute feet?? or happens to be ticklish?? or likes to be tickled or to tickle??well then! that kicks things up a few notches,, and i may sound like a jerk when i say this and its not my intention to be that way but i am sure some girls use this to thier advantage,,and god bless them for that lol! : ) i mean hey guys lets face the facts,, we have all seen it before havnt we? even an ugly woman can be a diva! or a prom queen with guys who have tickle and foot fetishes,,we all know how hard it is to find a woman who is both hot! and into the things we like,, those women are the holy grail!,, most guys arent that lucky,, i know im gonna get the " speak for yourself " deal here but what the heck i have spoken to many ticklers who can relate so here it goes,, i am wondering if for most ticklers if it is even a thought? do you prefere to be attracted to a person you are tickling? does it matter? if you had your choice would you tickle a girl who you thought was hot,, or would you tickle a ugly person just for the sake of tickling? be honest in your answers cause it is an interesting topic and would be nice to hear actual thoughts and not responses that are geared towards popularity and fear of reprisals lol

I do tend to want to tickle those who are attractive. There are two reasons for it; 1. a cute body squirming around is very sensual and 2. tickling is punishment for showing off their sexy body.

Jloltum...I know what you mean about guitar players cuz I happen to have one. I've always told him that when I see him play I watch his fingers cuz guitar player fingers amaze me. Hmmmm...I wonder if, all this time, I had a subconscious fetish before I even realized it? Anyway...back to topic. I think a person's laugh makes them attractive. I dont see a person and automatically want to tickle them but once I've heard them laugh wholeheartedly, I think the thought occurs to me how they would act and sound under the fingers.

i can relate to that and personality is a huge turn on!! i was just curious about how others think when it comes to that,, i think the urge to tickle is so strong with some that they actually dont care at all what a person looks like,, and since looks dont have anything to do with how ticklish a person is i guess it doesnt matter,, i was just curious about whether if presented with a choice what a tickler or ticklee would choose,,, ugly or cute,, just curious,, of course in a public forum many wont answer truthfully out of fear of being labled in some way,, i personally think personality has more to do with it than looks

Can't really seperate the two

I want to tickle all the women I find attractive in some way. I am more partial to brunettes then blondes. Jose who is that brunette at the bottom of your posts!!!! My GOD!!! That is what attracts me, so I would have to tickle her somehow, someway, even if just for a moment only because she is so beautiful to me. That is nice Jose, well done my friend. Salma Hayek shows up someday, same thing. Still love her.

If a woman likes to be tickled her attractiveness does go way up if I hadn't thought about her before, but if she is Rosanne Barr, I wouldn't care if she begged me to tickle her, I wouldn't tickle her with someone else's hand.

Sometimes she can have a "butter face" (she's got a nice body, but her face.....")and really nice soles, and I am hooked. Luckily my wife has both a beautiful face and really nice soles so I am indeed lucky, and yes I want to tickle her nearly every day because I am still attracted to her. Oh, and she is a brunette, 100% Italian I guess the closest actress she resembles is Jennifer Beals in the old Flashdance movie- she looked alot like her as a college student.

These are all very interesting posts. Attractiveness certainly has many dimensions, and things like familiarity with a person can affect it. And maybe things like intimacy factor in as well. I mean, I'm 100% attracted to my wife, and love playful tickling with her.

On the other hand, maybe there's some assessment that goes on when one thinks about other people, like a few others have said. Somehow one figures how ticklish might this person be, how acceptable would tickling be to them, are they attractive enough in some way (personality, physically, whatever) to warrant tickling?

For example, while Julia Roberts IS a good-looking woman, I'm not really attracted to her...HOWEVER, she has a fantastic cackle of a laugh. I have fantasized many times about tickling her feet, underarms...Laughter is a *crucial* element in helping Me choose My victims.

Then again, some people DO have irritating laughs, like this one porn star featured on a recent installment of HBO's 'Pornucopia' series. My God--her laugh was so high and shrill, and STUPID, it felt like My head was being squeezed in a vise everytime she laughed. Ugh! I am the same way, Laughter is REALLY important to me...sometimes I wonder if I have a tickling fetish to support my laughing fetish...
A lady with a great laugh will get me every time, but a "screamer" will turn me off really fast!

Julia Roberts is a great example too...I wouldn't want to date her but tickle her...YES and only because of the laughter it might produce

I too could care less about how they look. If they are fun to be around and are genuinely ticklish that is who I will tickle. I do have girlfriends (buddies) that I tickle and they are of a wide variety in size and stature. I also have dated women of a wide variety and tickled them as well. Its more of the reaction to it that I am attracted to.
