Was just wondering...

I was going through today and organizing some folders and I stumbled upon a folder where I've dumped several clips that I purchased over the years and, for one reason or another, didn't care for. It seemed a waste to just delete them, but in the meantime they're just sitting there taking up HDD space.

What do you guys do with clips you've purchased and wind up not liking?

Delete them. Roughly 10% of what I download gets deleted.

I hang onto them for a little while, but once I'm sure I don't like them I delete them

If they're really crap, I delete em. If their just "ok", i'll hold onto em until I need to free some drive space.

It's funny, stuff that you thought was pretty awesome 20 or 30 years ago, you look at it now and it's like, huh? That's awful! We've gotten so spoiled with all that's out there now, it has to be pretty bad to not get your interest!

I've also oddly enough, encountered the reverse! Some late 80's/early 90's material which was the first I'd ever seen, admittedly now would at best be mediocre. If not out and out bad lol. And yet - somehow, it's still hot to me.

As for the OP, delete.

I delete them. I'm not gonna hold onto a clip that I'm not enjoying. It doesn't happen often to me, but it is frustrating when it does. Things like bad camera angles, bad lighting, or the tickler getting all up in the vid or talking too much. But what annoys me the most, descriptions of a video that aren't accurate. I have a thing for bellybuttons, and a lot of times they're ignored. I've purchased a number of clips that say that it gets some/lots of attention, only to find out that it barely got any attention at all. I'm talking less than 30-45 seconds, even in situations when it gets a great reaction.

The risk of getting a disappointing clip is is why over the past few years I've put more focus on ordering custom vids. If I see a clip that I think looks good I may purchase it, but for the most part I've stuck to just ordering customs. Because with those I can specifically get what I want.

I keep it; even if I don’t watch it I still keep it just in case. Besides, I’ve paid my money, I want something to show for it.

Cheers, everybody,
