Discovered An Acquaintance's Fetish...

I've known this girl for a while, mostly due to common interests in college bringing us into similar social circles/organizations/clubs/etc...we have never really been close, but she's always been cool in my book. Anyhoo, I was looking up Fetish groups on one of the networking sites I subscribe to, and she has started a foot fetish group!!! Her's was the one that came up...and I almost stopped breathing I was so excited/stunned/thrilled that there's someone else with a fetish so close at hand...

So, as I've never talked about my particular likes with anyone but my ler, I sent her a message through the site, telling her how proud I am of her for being a hell of a lot braver than me and that, even though we aren't close, I would love to be able to chat about our fetishes sometime, as it's always comforting to have someone to talk to who understands...

So here are my questions:

Have you ever randomly found out about a friend having a fetish, whether it was tickling related or other, and, if so, how did you handle it?

Did I do ok with sending that message? I told her at the end of it that if she really didn't feel comfy discussing it, to let me know, and I'll never bring it up again.

I really hope she has a positive response...that would be AWESOME!!!

So, anyone else have something similar??? This is a whole new ballpark for me...I don't even know if this is in the right section of the boards, so please forgive me my trespasses, Mods...I'm kinda in a crazy/excited state right now!!!!

funny you should mention that. about a year ago, i was up there near pittsburgh, vistiing friends with them. too bad i never thought to come visit you.
we were kinda being rushed. hurried up there cause we were eager to meet our friends, but in a hurry to leave to beat out a huge arctic storm. i was up there for 2 months, and talk about a vacation! had so much florida sun in my blood, went around town in 10 degree weather with shorts on in december. first time i seen snow since it snowed 2 inches in florida in 1989.

i told them about you and they gave me a swift kick in the buns for not thinking about visiting you up there. were kcking around the idea of coming up there this winter.

speaking of heat. it's been an average of 105 degrees out with the humidity factor. but all this week it's been raining cows and sheep (worse than cats and dogs) so shockingly, even during summer, the whole town is flooded.

We'll have to figure it out...maybe on a weekend the roomies are away...nextdoor (we're in a duplex) is usually stoned, playing guitar loudly, or they just don't care...they're an awesome bunch of guys though, and their music is rather fabulous...we kinda lucked out...we shall see as the time gets closer...I also have to see how classes are looking...

So I chatted with this girl...turns out, she's into feet, is a bit of a ler, and knows about our community here on this site!!! We talked about what we like, what we don't like, and we found out, how old we were, and we found we had a lot in common...it's so refreshing to know someone in person who has had similar experiences...amen...and no, she didn't tickle me...maybe sometime down the road...but she's rather reserved, so much so it surprised me she's a ler...but it's always the quiet ones you need to look out for!!! I'll post more as stuff happens!!!
