A French children's book author has filed a lawsuit against Disney saying that Nemo holds a very close resemblance to his own character, Pierrot. Author Franck Le Calvez wrote a book called "Pierrot the Clown Fish" about a striped orange fish separated from his family. In a statement, Walt Disney Co. says 'Finding Nemo' was "independently developed" and they consider the case "to be totally without merit." A court hearing will be held in February for the breach of copyright and trademark against Disney and Pixar Animation.
