Just wanted to share cause I'm pretty proud of these. I built stocks, this is the first time I have made anything like this... But if I can do it, truly, anyone can . The wood was from the front of a desk drawer, the padding was an old stuffed animal i cut apart (a Care bear, lol, the green clover and hearts were from him too.). The top toe ties spot is part of an old purse with buckles that I nailed to the top. Hinges/locks were from Walmart (my hinges are sorta ghetto rigged as you can see in the 1st pic). Photos are back and front side .

Looks pretty good I guess.

Hopefully the surface where the wood was cut away is smooth and the care bear was large enough so that the padding is sufficient.

You might want to put an ankle or 2 in there and move it around to see how it feels.

Congrats...

I have dude ...they are very soft inside. Think they'll be fine. And yeah I sanded the cut areas too. Still working on it but I'm painting the front and putting some foam on the back to cover any nails/screw heads that could stick out enough to scratch or snag a foot

Nice job but poor Care Bear! Definitely keep it up, a lot of fun to build stuff.

Hey thank you so much! It is very nice to hear a positive comment from someone who has worked with a lot of stocks, I can't wait to try them!😁

I attached a couple more images of the progress on them since then, I finished the base for them, now all that's left is lining the inside of the base, finishing painting, and adding a layer around the holes to cover up screw heads/nails.
