Is it just me or as the Duel in Dallas approches, the Cowboys are being told that they have no chance against the Patriots, and to not even bother showing up?

All I heard on ESPN is that the Cowboys are in "serious trouble" when the Patriots show up at Texas Stadium. Did I miss something? Have the Cowboys not been playing as well as the Patriots up until last monday night? Here's a little history lesson fro all those who my not know...

NY Giants vs. Dallas 45-35 W
Dallas vs. Miami 37-20 W
Dallas vs. Chicago 34-10 W
St. Louis vs. Dallas 35-7 W
Dallas vs. Buffalo 25-24 W

I'm all for giving the Patriots their credit and saying that what they are doing is just flat out amazing, but dont act like the Cowboys got to their 5-0 record just by being lucky, and dont give give me that "who have they played" crap either. I fully expect the team that won their first four games to show up and play the Patriots and not the team that played on monday night and give the Cowboys their credit as well.

I was surprised by the spread. i figured it would be a pick game. the oddsmakers arent stupid though. they know the best when they see it. :bowing:

I am a big Cowboys fan and have noticed this too. But some of these same EXPERTS thought the `boys would blow out the Bills. BOTTOM LINE IS NO MATTER WHO WINS ON SUNDAY IT IS JUST ONE GAME AND DOES NOT A SUPERBOWL WIN MAKE!!!

'til they lose then you will find another teams bandwagon to jump on. There is a difference of being a fan and a front-runner.

George....Let him have his fun, he is probably wearing a Colts hat while he types. Or maybe a Spurs hat or a Ducks hat or a Gators hat or...

The Pats-Cowboys game was just one game. It means very little overall. If anyone has a reason to play the "no respect" card it's the Colts. NO ONE has said jack crap about the Colts. They are the defending Champions and were undefeated, just as the Pats and Cowboys were going into this game.

I'm not a Colts fan - but I fail to understand why anyone hasn't mentioned them in the same sentence as the Pats and Cowboys. As one writer said, they are the defending Champions and remain the Champions until someone proves otherwise.

I guess they are just being over shadowed by the incredible dominance of the Pats.

It's ok Maniactickler, I'm sure you have your Colts hat ready "just in case". Heck you might even be able to get a good deal on a Steelers hat. I'm sure there are lots of wagon fans like you that jumped that boat last year. Or you might even still have yours from two years ago. In any case..

If only there were true Patriots fans here to try and explain all the cheating..

Dallas may be the best team in the NFC, but they cannot compete against the top AFC teams. The NFC of late has become the No Fucking chance conference.
