Do podiatrists have a foot fetish?

I had to make my first ever trip to a podiatrist, i thought i had hurt something but false alarm..thank goodness..anyhoo, during the exam, the podiatrist kept making over my feet..calling them dainty etc...at one time he grabbed both and i giggled and said "That tickles" he laughed and said "Of course it does, you are alive aren't you?" i was like hmmm i wonder if he has a foot fetish...do you ever think that? or wonder why a foot doctor has that calling? damn he should have known not to grab the sole like that when i'm so damn ticklish lol

I would venture a guess and say that some probably do, and some probably don't...

There are some NASTY feet in this world, most of which require the care of a podiatrist...and frankly, I wouldn't be able to enjoy normal feet again if I was faced with the nasty ones most of the time...or maybe seeing all of the nasty ones makes a person appreciate nice ones that much more...who knows? I'd say there's probably a good split between those who have the fetish, and those who don't...good question though...always wondered myself...

Actually I am married to a ballerina, but her feet are incredible. Granted she has to really take care of them a lot of the time, but she has none of the usual problems that dancers can have. I am sure the regular pedicures help, as well as the scrubbing with pumice stones and daily lotion. Just thought I'd add to that in defense of some dancers who still work hard on keeping their feet nice and succulent! : )

uh ewwww i forgot about nasty feet.. yea that would be a reason for the doctor to have made over my feet so much...probably not often he gets a chance to see nice feet...and i know i'm not vain lol...but i do have nice feet..at least that's what the guys tell me..o and imagine a gynecologist having to see some nasty things in his/her daily visits..ewwwwwww it would be enough to turn them off sex for life..

i would think podiatrists would not have foot fetishes do to the sometime graphic foot problems people come in with.....HOWEVER shoe store employees...now they certainly are suspect to foot fetishes..lol.

When I was in my early teens I actually contempleted becoming a podiatrist.
Then I rationalized & thought to my myself, "Self", I said, "I would have to deal with men's feet & the elderly feet. Also I have to deal with ugly feet. This might NOT be such a good idea after all."
& that, my dear friends, killed my medical career as a Foot Doctor.

"aroused" most of the time. Ya know, ya have to see the hiddeous feet then along comes perfect feet on a woman.....The trips to the bathroom, the discusting look on the nurses face when she sees the "battle of the bulge"
in your pants...And what if he's like us, with a tickle fetish on top of it ?

hehe interesting ^_^ I've never considred becoming a podiatrist; but I have toyed with the idea of being a reflexologist. I'd work at a spa, and women would come to me right after their pedicures for some relaxation...

To add to my reply from before. . . .
If you are exposed to what you love for long periods of time you become desensitized & the thrill is just not there any longer. You might even learn to dislike feet. Your senses (sight, smell & touch) will probably be on overload & your fetish might even cease to exist for a while.
Of course, I am NO expert.

Yeah I would think some probably do have a foot fetish but most of them don't - there are some nasty feet out there!
