hey everyone i'm new at this forum thingy but thought i wuld ask, since i live at home and cant have a tickling buddy just yet, if any of u have ever tried tickling urselves and if u have any tips on how to make it more 'real' without having a ler around to dish out sum punishment lol

Hello Deadly and welcome to the forum.
Personally, I've never been any good at the self tickling thing. It isn't that I can't create a tickling sensation, the problem lies with the fact that the minute it does start to tickle my instant reaction is to pull away from the sensation. Hopefully there will be others that will be able to respond with helpful suggestions.

I think it really depends on how ticklish you are. And also as Embraceable says when you hit a really ticklish spot its reflex to stop anyway. Where as another party will continue to tickle and get the giggles really flowing.

yes, I self-tickle. it's good to distract your mind while tickling. Don't look at what you're doing. It's perceived as a motor function then. If you look away, you catch yourself by surprise and it Really tickles.

Nothing takes the place of a good ler though.

i'll try to find the thread and post it here, but it begins with not being adverse to altering your state of mind; ie, using whatever your poison of choice is- here i would say alcohol and then lots of lotion, maybe a pedicure.

Welcome to the forum. You'll get lots of good advice on this site - I can guarantee you. Try purchasing an Ostrich feather duster. Lay on your couch or bed with your one arm stretched over your head. It also helps to have some sensuous music playing in the background. Close your eyes, and drag the feather duster over your bare midriff. It sends tingles all the way down to my toes when I do that every time!! Good luck and keep us posted.

Thank you for that wonderful mention about our chat and what I was able to do to help you out. Please keep in mind it is not all me that can make that happen. ( But I do like the idea that I could be that smart, lol yeah right ) I have had this interest for a while and have posted a few times about it. I have been laughed at, and other times I have been asked ok what is it that needs to be done. Some have been able to do it and others have not. Yet I have been told, that they all enjoyed the idea. Funny thing I still talk with those that were not able to do that, but the ones that can, have decided that I'm not one that they care to continue talking too, or to even do that once in a while for the fun of it or anymore, but will do for others, oh well, at least I was able to help out. Not looking to start anything. It does take a special person to be able to do that. Need to be well, ticklish on there feet. An 8 at least on a scale from 1-10 is a good scale to be at, and a good imagination and, being able to trust that I'm not going to be some rude guy that wants to use this as a way to um, lets not go there, lol. Remember I'm married and my wife was the one that introduced me to this to begin with. I have just added few other ideas. So thanks again for that nice mention, but it takes two to tickle or in this case, one to tickle and one to give the ideas. Hey that still makes two.

To the question of self tickling: While I dont do it often, there certainly have been times, for whatever reason, that I have tickled myself. I am very to extremely ticklish all over, if tickled by someone else. In self tickling, it does feel highly ticklish for me if I run my fingers over my belly, midsection, ribs, sides, or under my arms. As for my feet, which are normally very ticklish if someone else tickles them, I cannot get any sensation at all from self tickling. I dont know why I am very self ticklish in certain spots, and not at all on my feet, especially since my feet are so ticklish if someone else tickles them, but, that's just the way it seems to be.

I agree with you when you said, "just think about it....and you feel it". Before I belly-dance for someone, I just think about my revealing costume and the cold air hitting my stomach. Suddenly - a ticklish feeling begins to creep up my spine and I can almost feel those "invisible little fingers" stroking my belly!!! Quite the sensation!!!!

Sometimes what I do, is lie down in the shower, as it's going full blast, and I do get a tickling reaction from it.... perhaps not the kind of reaction one gets from being tickled by another, but hey, it works.
