Do Women Have A Footfetish?

I have an interesting observation or question for anyone. Is it a reasonable assumption that women who take great care of their feet to show off in sandals during the warmer months have some sort of foot fetish? The reason I ask is simply due to a conversation that I had with a fellow employee who happens to be female and loves to go barefoot in her shoes or sandals. I mentioned to her one day that her feet looked wonderful and that she must take good care of them. She and I are good friends, so we can have casual conversations like this. Anyway, she said "I love to have them noticed and I love to look at them myself." So, I asked her do all women who have pretty feet like yours share the same feelings that you do? She gave me the impression that any girl who displays her bare foot is not doing simply for comfort, especially if they look wonderful. Without her knowing about my foot fetish, she also asked me if I or any guy I knew liked to look at female feet. Before I could even answer, she said that women are very keen on the fact that many men love to see a pretty pair of feet in slacks, jeans or a sun dress. Consequently, it is her opinion that women dress this way with that knowledge in mind. Anyway, I just wondered waht anyone thought of my post. Thanks!

I understand your assumption! I don't think every women wearing sandals is looking for attention to her feet. Many women
who find men looking at their feet odd or peculiar may still wear sandals for comfort or style. I only wish your assumption was true!! As for me, if I see pretty, well-groomed feet in sandals, I
will look at them long enough for her to see her feet are being
noticed and appreciated-but not so long as to gawk or stare.
How she responds at that point may reveal her motive for wearing sandals!! Make sense??

In response to Solemate's observation that not all women who wear sandals necessarily have a foot fetish. I have to agree with that assumption, but at the same time I do not believe that a very attrative women with awesome feet will wear a pair of high heeled pump sandals for simple comfort. Indeed, I believe she would want anyone to notice a perfectly pedicured pair of feet. Likewise, I do not understand why any woman who wears sandals to accent a beautiful pair of feet feel uncomfortable about anyone staring at them for any length of time? If so, why wear such sandals to draw so much attention and also why go to so much trouble to take great care of your feet if not to show them off? I guess what I am trying to say, is that foot fetishism is more in the open these days, and that many women are tuned into this. I actually believe that while many are disgusted by this affliction, there are many more who do not mind men staring at their feet. That is why they show them off whenever possible. Please keep this discission going.

Maybe, maybe not.

It's a hard one that. I think that, perhaps, some women really do want their feet noticed, but for some it'll be simply because they like the shoes, the fashion, or they simply want to look pretty. I know a couple of tarts who wear tops with a slit right down between the cleavage and skirts up their arses, but if they caught anyone staring at them they'd shout and swear "pervert" - and many other profanities.

My girlfriend, before we began going out, always used to wear (and still does) very interesting and colourful socks. Well, as you can guess, I showed a lot of interest. And when we started seeing each other and I told her about my fetish she said she had never had a clue about it, or that such things even existed - she likes it now though! She just wore them cos she thought they looked cool. She liked them and she didn't give a shit what anyone else thought really.

I just think that one cannot simply say that all women who wear strappy shoes, etc. want their feet noticing, or that all don't or whatever; all on individual basis dudes.

Good point Moondog83uk. I do not want to assume too much these days. I suppsose we could ask the question of what exactly can be defined as a foot fetish? In other words, if someone likes the way their feet look, or are very conscience of how they appear bare to other people, could that be considered a form of foot love or foot fetishism? Anyway, I too hope that everyone has a great holliday season.

Interesting thought. I usually engage women with beautiful feet in foot conversation. I start off by complimenting them on their choice of shoes, toe ring, or ankle bracelet. I then proceed to tell them they have very pretty feet. After that, I usually ask if they've had a professional pedicure, or if they did it themselves. If it was professional, I ask them if it tickled at all. I may then say something like, "Wow, you go to great lengths to make sure your feet look good, don't you?" I wait for the response and then ask, "why?" or ask if they ever receive very many compliments on their feet?

When I use this line of questioning, I feel like a talk show interviewer, or something, but, I always get great responses and interesting conversations that have led to several foot massages, foot meals, and brief to medium length tickle sessions. This normally happens when women ask me whether I like feet or if I have a foot fetish to which I always answer with an emphatic, "YES!" I have met several women who realize the power of their feet over men like us and they like the attention from their teases. I have met women who are just meticulous about every aspect of their appearances...including feet. I have even met women with shoe fetishes. Only met one woman with a true foot fetish and she was into eating and tickling men and women's feet as well as having it reciprocated to her. Engage women in these innocent conversations, fellas....and ladies and you never know what can come out of them.

This is quite simple. Sandals are not as comfortable as shoes can be. It doesnt matter what sandal you are wearing, there is a pair of shoes that dominates any sandal when it comes to comfort. Thats just an excuse a person with some sort of foot fetish might claim as to not be discovered or looked upon in that particular way, a common defense for someone protecting their feelings for whatever reason. Women can be just as secretive about having a foot fetish, some deny and some may even take it to their grave. It is in their nature to not be open about it, so wearing sandals is like an open ended clue. Yes you occassionaly find those that are open, but not that often. The nail polish can also be a factor in solving this little mystery. Some like to use "flashy" colors, others may use more typical colors. The fact that they make em look pretty, tells me that they pay attention to the way their feet look. Why color them if they didnt care ? I can tell you this, the majority of women who wear sandals usually have some 'thing' for feet. Body language for me is what gives it away. Behavior. Whether big or small, huge or tiny, theres a percentage as to how they view their feet and to a good majority, its on a positive side. Meaning no matter how big or small, them liking their feet, the attention, or the exposure of their soles has to be the favorite in them feeling a little extra towards their feet or feet in general. Like I say, this is in regards to the majority, not one stand alone girl or even 20 of them, that just try to prove something or someone wrong because what we say cannot be coined a fact but let me tell you, your behavior gives it away. The actions you have shown me has drawn me to accept this conclusion. Females know exactly what they are doing, and i will not be decieved when it comes to females wearing sandals for comfort LOL OH U HAVE TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING BETTER THAN THAT SORRY LOL COMFORT LOL

Since this has been bumped, I noticed something. It seems to be a trend that whenever questions are brought about the secrets of the fairer sex no women post to help us out. Maybe they dont want us to understand them so they can have some power over us and keep us bewildered all the time. I know we have several female membebrs who post very regularly so where r they when us guys need help? 🙂 😀 😉
