Yes, I think that extraterrestrial life probably exists somewhere in the universe, although I have not seen enough evidence to believe that UFO's are alien space craft or that extraterrestrial beings visit Earth.

Yes I believe that life, in the form of sentient and highly intelligent beings, has exsisted in other "worlds" both prior to our exsistance, and during our existance; and I believe that such life will exist long after we expire.

If the earth were even a half mile closer to or farther from the sun, it'd freeze or scorch. I have a hard time imagining other living beings and how they'd flourish in conditions where anything resembling tissue would freeze solid or burn instantaneously and they wouldn't require any type of breathing. Forget the intellect, they'd have to be physically impervious and require no sustaining elements. They would have to be radically different than anything we could even conceive. Is it possible? Eh, I suppose, but as a Christian, knowing that we're made in God's image, I have a hard time digesting that.

Specific terrain features alter temperatures on moons and planets. For instance, Io is generally very cold on its surface (around -140 celsius), but around its sulphur volcanoes there is a general temperature of +- 17 degrees celsius.

That aside, given the incomprehensibly enormous size of the universe, I think there's a very high chance that there is some form of intelligent life out there.

...But I'm not saying 'yes' or 'no' until I see some hard evidence of either opinion.

Thats a good argument, and I agree with it based on the science behind it, but when we consider that perhaps these aliens might actually be from a different dimension, it becomes possible to believe that they need only enter our space rather than live in it.

In fact, this explains how they would be able to travel great distances in short amounts of time. Many disbelievers usually begin their argument with "if there really were aliens they wouldn't nor would they be capable of flying their ships trillions of miles just to visit one planet. It would be too far out of their way to bother and they would not have the resources." If instantaneous travel is possible for them, then the remark seems presumptuous.

I also believe some of the aliens have a state of existence that is more spiritual than physical, and that many of the things they do are through projection and through inducing OOBE (out of body experience) rather than physical interaction. Perhaps this could explain why many abductees liken the experience more to a dream than a reality, since their presence and the presence of the aliens seems more surreal and eerie, not because they're with aliens and this is an unwelcome situation (for most), but because the sensation of time and place is so warped or seems out of order. It would also account for the seemingly rapid duration of the encounters themselves. Many people report it feeling like it all took place in an instant, from beginning to end, and if they're screwing with your mind as opposed to your body, and they didn't need to physically travel or take you to a ship in orbit, and were able to take you to their reality, then take you back, or perhaps bring that reality to you through astral projection of some sort, then it makes more sense.

Thats a good point I would have brought up eventually. For all we know they have their own elements and periodic table that exists in such a way that it runs counter to ours, or perhaps provides them some immunity to ours. Perhaps some of the things which are harmful and destructive to us, provides sustenance or healing properties for them. It is human arrogance through our pride in our limited human science that leads us to believe our laws of existence, as we perceive them, applies to all existences under God's creation, not just in this universe, but in any universe, dimension, or other plain of reality. Not only is it extremely arrogant, but is practically limiting God's genius and the majesty of all His creations.

Its possible, remember there are parts of the universe we havent even discoverd yet, there could be a whole nother solar system out there somewhere with or without an energy force like the sun. If there are lifeforms out in the far reaches of space they could have been created to not need something like the sun to live. It could be like this: humans, sun and aliens, nothing. But the aliens could be wondering the same thing we are, if there is life outside our planet

Yes, most definitely. With as big as our solar system is let alone all the others out there I don't see how there couldn't be. The fact that none of them has contacted us, for me, confirms they're out there. I mean really, have you seen the TV shows on lately? I wouldn't approach this planet if I picked up one of those broadcasts.
