And...for the record, I don't dislike my name. I do dislike some of the abbreviations for it.
And there are way too many ways to spell it. I prefer to go by "Deb" - short for Deborah. Some of my older school friends still call me Debbie. I had friends in HS who would call me Debbers or Deb-Deb. Those are things that make me hate my name honestly. That, and the "Little Debbie" snack cakes or "Debbie Does Dallas" - so not funny.

My name is effeminate. People tell me its supposed to be stronger in a male, but the only other people I've ever met with it are female. But it is better than my middle name, however both are biblical.
Luckily I grew up with a brother, so I was mostly "Hey you". 😀
