Today, I browsed through the TMF links section once again, and afterwards through the Clips4Sale site. Suddenly, I was awed by the sheer amount of tickling sites and offers for tickling material! And I asked myself: How did I manage to cope with my tickling fetish before the internet?
When I was a teenager, already aware of my predilection for tickling, all I had was fantasy. Mail order catalogues with photos of bare armpits and feet, that was my main source of "jack-off" material.
Much later, during a trip to NY, I stumbled over a magazine called "Knotty", featuring some tickle pics (rather lame, compared to nowadays' standards). One of the ads mentioned CalStar and Harmony vids, and in fact I found some quarter dollar booth in a sex shop on Times Square with Super8 flicks on tickling. I was so thrilled when I found out that I wasn't all alone with my enthusiasm for tickling! Even though I still considered myself a freak, I finally knew that there were other freaks like me.
I signed up for CalStar's and Harmony's snail mail newsletters, and still quite a while later, I finally could order my first tickling vids, sending US$ cash through the mail, always afraid that the package would get confiscated by customs.
By and by, there came other producers of tickling material. Magic Touch, Realtickling and MTJPub come to my mind. My collection of tickling mags and vids grew steadily. No preview clips, always hoping for the best result without knowing beforehand.
And now? Literally hundreds of producers and tickling websites can be found on the internet, the amount increasing almost daily. And still I see people complaining about not getting the "real" stuff, never satisfied with the overwhelming range of offers. What would they have done in the pre-internet days? Just wondering...
