I knew that I finally had to go see my internist to get my BP checked today, as I hadnt been there since 2-17-11, due to all that went on with my mom.
We had a long talk, longer than usual. My weight and bp arent a problem. The weight was 180 on his scale, and is usually in the high 170s on my scale. My bp is decent, anywhere in the 120s to 130s over high 80s.
We talked about my mom's case. Dr A said that, unfortunately, her case was typical of what they see with lung cancer patients, and, that the first Dr here in Lancaster, while we didnt like his personality, gave us a realistic view. In Dr A's opinion, the Drs in NJ gave us false hope of cure/long term arrest of the disease, which isnt the reality. We finished on a good note. He told me that he really liked my mom, and wished me well, as this is my last visit with him. I'm glad I went. He's basically a nice guy, and took good care of us all these years.
Anyhow, thats it. Now back to life. Time for some chinese food, lol.
