The Dodgers won 106 games for the first time ever this year!

Unfortunately, this does not auger well for the post-season, based on past history of times that they have won 100+ games:

1974: 102-60 Lost World Series to the Athletics.
1962: 101-61 Lost 3-game playoff to a team whose name I won't mention.
1953: 105-49 Lost World Series to the Yankees.
1942: 104-50 Lost NL pennant to the Cardinals.
1941: 100-54 Lost World Series to the Yankees.
