Does anyone else have a complete change of personality when it comes to fetishes?

Normally, I'm an outgoing and loud individual that likes to talk a lot but when it comes to tickling i change into a completely different person.

Sometimes, I have this weird habit of not using the word "tickling" or "fetish" when talking because it gives a really weird connotation.

Or maybe it's just the fact that our inner conscience is telling us that most fetishes are shunned as "weird" by society and we subconsciously recognize that and thus it manifests into that awkward feeling.

feel free to comment about my drunk ramblings.

I rarely say the word "tickle." I hate it. It's so embarrassing to say. I dunno. I've always been that way. Maybe I'll grow out of it.

And when introducing people I date to it, I leave out the word fetish for t hat very reason - "weird connotation."

I just say I like it.

I'm the exact same way. I think it's just an embarassing thing, on the off chance the person you're telling has a negative reaction.

I flinch even when I see the word in a book or hear it on TV.

Weird

I have a personality change in a different sort of way. I'm usually cerebral and formal and the opposite of playful, so I must look like an amazingly different person when I start tickling someone.

Totally agree.Even in social settings it can be awkward hearing other people say it.I wish I had an easier time spitting it out I just c-c-can't. :jester:
