Ok maybe since it's not your coach but if it were would you have a problem knowing your teams head coach is away on a planned family vacation now. Maybe it's me but when planning a family vacation I would hope any head coach wouldn't plan it till the season is over. Now what makes this worst is that he just fired his Defenive Cord. on Sunday. Yes it's Andy Reid who is down in Caribean with his family as of yesterday, so what he would fly back for the game on Sat or Sun or am I still pissed they lost and looking for reasons to hate the fat fuck even more.

Don't get me started on "Big Red". I hate to admit it, but the past few seasons I've found myself for the first time in my life actually rooting for the Eagles to fail just so they can make some big time changes in the organization starting with getting rid of Andy Reid. Sean McDermott was the scapegoat for the Eagles problems this year. I don't think that the greatest defensive coordinator in the league could have gotten much out of the slop defensive players he was given and all the injuries they had on defense. And who drafted the players McDermott was given? 
In answer to your question I guess, Andy Reid being on vacation when McDermott got fired leads me to believe that the decision to fire McDermott maybe came from someone above Reid. Just a hunch. If McDermott was such a horrible def. coordinator why did it take the Panthers little more than 24 hours to hire Sean. And the Broncos were ready to hire him as well.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Eagles will never win a Super Bowl with Andy Reid as the head coach of this team.

Oh, it's all good. I was just kidding. I enjoy getting fired up and having "intelligent" conversations about the Eagles. I get annoyed with a lot of Eagles fans and many who call in to talk radio and base their whole opinion on the Eagles on whichever game they most recently played and never see the big picture. I've had a love/hate relationship with the Eagles the past few years and I don't feel proud about it but it's the way I feel. I'm normally not a negative person, but I've just had it up to here with Andy Reid. It's time for a change, for better or for worse.

i'm with ya, that's not my coach, but i can see how that would be upsetting to know your coach is on a vacation he planned to go on before the season was over.. (unless by planned it meant it was recently planned, like a couple weeks ago)... but if he was planningit during the season it's like he expects his team to fail and not be playing still... that would be upsetting.
We were still in the playoffs last Sunday up till about 7PM

I don't see anyone who's being "whiny" in this thread. I may have went off on a bit of a tangent from what the OP was referring to, but if having an opinion is your definition of "whiny", then so be it. I've felt the same way about Andy Reid for many years and I don't "flip flop" on my opinion based on 1 or 2 games. And I'm not being negative for the sake of being negative. I love all the other coaches in this town. Charlie Manuel...love the guy. Peter Laviolette...great coach and great motivator. Doug Collins...great guy who cares about his players and bringing some respect back to a great basketball town. And we've got great college hoops coaches in Jay Wright and Fran Dunphy. It's a great time for Philly sports right now.

look at it like this andy ried is a better coach then people realize i mean multiple playoffs and winning seasons. its simple you all have just been at the cusp for so long that your ready to break through and win big...... so were bills fans when they got rid of mark levy and even the broncos same deal so close couldnt get done fired the coach that keeps them in the mix only to hire someone else who runs the organization into the ground. if you want rid of andy that is cool i think it will set the eagles back 8 years. denver is still in the hurt i mean josh daniels ruined that team and now they have john fox who is simply terrible. get rid of reid and forget about the eagles for the next decade
Do me a favor name me the teams that will let a coach come in and give him 13 years to win a Super Bowl ?????. Once again everyone thinks he's so great but has a losing record with teams above 500 and what does every team that makes and wins in the cold playoff months have to do to win ????? RUN the ball but Andy being smarter then the rest of the NFL thinks he's going to win throwing and throwing and doing more throwing. Maybe a 10 win season and then the last 2 years going 1 and done in the playoffs is good for you but not us.
