does anyone remember mr magoos christmas carol?

i have this classic on vhs tape. mr magoo's Christmas carol. it is a musical and very well done. the characters are portrayed almost exactly as in the book. plus its not one of those annoying musicals. tiny tim is adorable, unlike any live movie i have seen. and the ghost of jacob marley always used to scare the beejesus out of me...

I remember a few cartoons of mr magoo, and may have seen it at one point, but I don't remember it.

I remember that cartoon "movie!" It wasn't Christmas unless you saw that sometime during the holidays. I loved it. That was a long time ago, and I haven't thought about it for many years. Thanks for mentioning it!!

I was just saying last night that the Mr Magoo version might be only one I've seen in it's entirety. And I know that this is horrible and I'm lacking culturally, but I'm working on it. Knox tells me that the one with Allistair Sim is the gold standard so this is what I'm TIVOing next.

I think I seen just one Magoo toon a long loooooong time ago as a child. I always thought that he looked like a tickler. I mean just imagine that little dude coming after you, fingers wriggling, saying "magoo, magoo, magoo, magoo..." 😛

you are right the one with alistaire sim is the best ever. i have it on video tape also. that jacob marley had the best scream it went all thru you

I've never seen this either. In fact, I've never heard of it. I used to love to watch Mr. Magoo cartoons, and I'll bet this movie is a hoot. How long is it?

its one hour long. the funny thing is he is nearsighted, so he is constantly making mistakes with his vision.
