Does causing pain on your ticklish spot make you more sensitive to tickling?

Does anyone here believe that causing pain on your ticklish spot makes you more ticklish( more sensitive to touch)? When I see certain tickling videos, I see someone spank or use an object to hit the person to make them more ticklish. How does causing pain by spanking their ticklish spot with an object make it more ticklish? I personally cannot do that to someone. That is just like pure torture without the tickling.

Oh wow. I would not want to find out lol :sherlock:

Would that not cause numbness? "Hey baby, can I punch you in a boob?"

Then, I will tickle the bruise off of your nipple!

The idea does not stand(in my case)...

It depends on the kind of pain. Spanking, flogging, whipping, or cropping can cause the areas you hit to be more ticklish. It some how awakens the nevers so to speak. I can speak from experience. I have had my ass tickled after it being spanked, cropped and flogged,my back tickled after flogging, and my feet tickled after bastinado(Foot spanking).

I suppose in the same way a feather works in heightening your skins sensitivity, pain can produce the same results. Dude someone hit up Mythbusters ... got a serious nerd crush for kari byron :typerhappy:

Bastinado doesn't make my feet more ticklish (nor do I like it).
