Does the laugh matter? To me, two words: HELL YEAH!

Some people like the struggle thing, others the silent laughter thing, etc. so there is of course the wonderful variety that nature provides. I can speak without a doubt for myself though that yelling, cursing, screaming like one is in pain, etc. does nada for me. A hearty, bona fide laugh from deep inside is key for me enjoying my experience as a tickler. Sounds like we are alike that way. There are those who enjoy different reactions however. I have always said that not every tickler matches every ticklee and vice versa for these and other reasons.

Once again, your situation has shown that in the "vanilla" population there are wonderful and ticklish people out there who when approached properly can really get into it allowing you to enrich each others' lives. So remember folks it simply not true that there is "nobody out there to tickle" or "nobody out there to tickle me". Hogwash! You have to want it and go after it and like the starter of this thread (and myself) with time you will find it.

thats a great response to a great topic!

a ladies laugh is one of the most enjoyable parts of the tickle experience for me....and only certain types of laughter really do it for me....

a great laugh is wonderful music......
 
I once started a thread, asking why laughter seems to turn some men on, and got some great responses..i'm thinking without the laughter, tickling someone wouldn't be very much fun..
 
I like many and most aspects of being the tickler, but the key purpose of it is to make laughter.
 
yes the laugh matters, omg yes thats like half the reason for tickling. Personally i hate screamers.

Your sooo right. Everyone laughs different of course, but knowing that you are causing it, is one of the best things about tickling!!! 😀

I agree that the laugh really does matter. I don't care for screamers as much- and I once asked if there was a way to convert a screamer to a laugher. Still, I'm pretty sure the laugh is not all there is to tickling - as one question I've heard asked by non-tickle fetishists is, 'Why tickle, when you can just tell a real funny joke?' Heck, I'm not sure I can easily answer the question as to why the idea of someone's soles being relentlessly tickled turns me on. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that tickling blurs the line between pain and pleasure. The sadistic side of me is turned on by the idea of tickling someone's soles mercilessly while causing them to laugh helplessly - while the masochistic side of me is turned on by imagining that it's being done to me. Or, more accurately, imagining that I'm Michael J Fox and it's being done to me - if that makes any sense.
 
When I tickle a lee I definitely want her to laugh..not just laugh but laugh uncontrollably. It really doesn't matter how intense the laugh is..but I have to know that she is quiet because she can't gain composure..not because she is falling asleep. Unfortunately silent laughter does nothing for me when watching a video for some reason. Maybe its because I am not doing the tickling and I can't tell whether the tickler is just that bad. Its not the same with telling a joke either but I have been known to enjoy making a woman laugh uncontrollably when I say something funny. I think like ever ler..its the control factor. Unless you are a very funny person..its not possible to make a lee laugh all time but when they are ticklish..you are almost guarenteed a fine performance... 😛oke3:
 
As for me, I am not picky about how the laughter sounds as long as the person is laughing rather than screaming. I prefer laughing to screaming any day of the week.

I am generally more of a sommie tickler, so (obviously) laughter doesn't play a huge role-although, aside from the itching, jerking and twitching of sleepy feet and toes, few things turn me on more than the subtle giggles which escape my lees in their sleep.
But when I'm tickling wide-awake lees, yes, the laughter is very important to me. My girlfriend has a great laugh; one of those rhythmic, cyclical laughs which would be intermittent if I was cruel enough to keep the torture constant.
 
Yep, it sure does! If a lee just screams or whines it isn't as much of a turn on for me. Granted, screaming is still KIND of a turn on. But whine and I'll walk away leaving you out to dry (still tied up lol).
 
Of COURSE the laugh matters!

I mean, as some of you have astutely pointed out, that's half the fun we 'lers derive from tickling! And if she (I'm a 100% died-in-the-wool 'ler of females only) has a variety of gorgeous laughs, like a full-blown, almost hypnotic hysterical laugh when she's being tickled vigorously or a sweet, steady stream of adorable, musical giggles when she's tickled lightly, that's even more fuel for the 'ler's tickle-lust. Personally, I don't get anything at all out of the ol' ball-gag approach to accessorizing the tickle: it just takes too much away from the experience for me. AND if you can get her to beg and plead or really say ANYTHING with an uncontrollably giggly voice during the whole process, all the better! Great thread!
 
It absolutely matters. I think a lot of us are kind of "laughter connoiseurs." I love deep belly laughing that says to me "I can hardly take this, but it's really fun, and I know it's turning you on." I've only had a couple of partners out of well ... let's just say "lots" ... that could give that to me, but it was glorious when it happened.
 
Great laughter is one of the most arousing aspects of tickling, along with the tactile sensation of groping my lee's most sensitive spots and the feel of her writhing and bucking against me. (All of which is 10x more arousing if the tickling turns her on.)

I don't care for screamers, whiners, moaners, chucklers or squealers, only laughers. Silent laughter is sexy too, but only if I'm doing the tickling; to know I've driven my lee to such heights of hysteria is a major turn on. Silent laughter in a video, on the other hand, just makes me think the sound's cut out.

The most beautiful sound I know is the sound of a woman roaring with wild, uncontrollable laughter as I tickle the bejeesus out of her....
 
To my joy, I've been blessed with knowing some delightful ladies with absolutely wonderful laughter....no laughter that would sound like Fran Drescher or 'Janice' from "Friends," or anything like that (though....to tickle Fran Drescher's feet for just 10 minutes would be worth the slight ear pollution...LOL). Adorably girlish giggles leading into absolutely musical belly laughter; a number of them that would ultimately laugh themselves silent when the sensations got that intense.

I don't mind some squeals or shrieks of delight or surprise....I don't know if I would want to hear utter screams though....t'would make me think I was killing her rather than tickling her....one or two wouldn't be terrible....but knowing a good, healthy laugher is always a splendid bonus.
 
haha . . .squeaking is super cute. We can only hope that it escelates into something else.
 
Oh laughter is very important to me as a tickler. For one its extremely arousing to hear and it tells you your in control. I really dont like gags as what is the point if you cant hear her laugh.

I prefer hard intense laughter between wheezing or a word like please come out plee then trails of into lost helpless laughter, that just shakes the rafters off my roof and puts both ores in the water for me!!!
 
Yeah, I don't like gags, either. To me, one of the best parts about tickling is hearing the helpless laughter. As for Michael J Fox, I have heard him laugh a few times - and I'm not real sure of how to describe it, except it's captivating. At any rate, when being tickled, I can imagine he would be a laugher as opposed to a screamer.
 
The laugh is Everything!! I like my male lees to either have that great belly laugh or a nice intense giggle. Gets me every time!!! :firedevil

It depends. I think it's a mood thing. It also depends on the 'lee'. I mean if you connect, I think it's all good.
 
I definitely prefer laughter to screaming or squealing. But some ladies I've tickled weren't ticklish per se, but they'd purr or coo and let me know how much they enjoyed it. Sometimes that was even more satisfying that laughter.
 
I think the thing that matters most is the enjoyment level of the 'lee. If someone is screaming non-stop i would get the feeling they arent liking it very much. But a prolonged belly laugh, or the above mentioned squeaking is always fun. I dont know...as long as both parties are enjoying...the laughter is real and thats what matters
