Does your ticklishness get in the way of your sex life?

So this thought struck me this morning, and when I checked the forum I thought it was fairly similar to knot's thread. If it's covering similar issues, my apologies.

While experiencing that passionate rough 'n tumble that is the act of making sweet, sweet love, I find that mere contact with my body is enough to set off my ticklish receptors. I've had mixed responses from my partners to this; from mild annoyance to incorporating it into our foreplay.

My (possibly redundant, given the nature of this forum) question to you all; does your ticklishness detract from the overall experience, or does it augment it?

Funny, I was thinking about this recently. From the beginning of my sexuality I honestly thought that *everyone* incorporated at least a little tickling into lovemaking; for me, the frenzied out-of-control fun feeling of a good orgasm is so similar to the frenzied, out-of-control fun feeling during a thorough tickling that I assumed they just went together for everyone, or females anyway...and since my first sexual partner always initiated by tickling me (and still does 17 yrs later 😉 ) it was a long time before it dawned on me that some people can have an entire sexual encounter without any tickling. Poor bastards...😎 At this point I can certainly have a lovely shag without tickling, but it feels like something's missing.

nope! tickling doesnt really come into it unless like you say its as part of foreplay otherwise my ticklishness seems to shut off during the happy times

It doesn't necessarily get in the way really, but then again, I'm in Bella's camp: when my future wife and I get busy and there's no tickling involved, it always seems like there's something missing. She loves to tickle me (both for the act itself and the fact that it turns me on) and since I'm pretty much 90% ticklee, it works out for both of us. 🙂 Not to go into too much gory detail, but when she's on top and I'm laughing like crazy as her fingers dig into my ribs and stomach, it's always a mind-blowing experience. 😉

it doesnt get in the way of sex at all for me and my gf! sometimes she is tied up while im on top, and sometimes she ties me up whether im onn top or she is! I like tickling during sex, and like bella said, I can still throw down without it, but its just somethin is def missing

I make it part of foreplay and sometimes during sex or an orgasm (or multiple orgasms). It for sure enhances it. But I don't do it all the time. I hate predictability.

It has for me before... certainly during foreplay. My ex-girlfriend would get pissed off about it too sometimes 🙁 Can't help it though... if I'm touched, kissed or licked in a certain way in certain areas, it just flat out tickles. She actually took it personally a few times, thinking that I was laughing at her... which obviously was not the case 🙁 Needless to say, that would kill the mood and frustrated the hell out of me.
