don't you just hate power outages

I mean I was laying in bed with the power out miserable watching my sister's dog which is afraid of both the dark and lightning!!!

Yes, power outages suck big time. We have them often here in Lancaster. My power has been out here for as much as 9 or 10 hours on some occasions.

Sorry to hear you had a power outage. Hopefully it was not for too long. That could not have been fun-trying to watch your sister's dog-when the dog is afraid of the dark and lightning-with no power. Just curious which dog-the chihuahua or the big dark chocolate labardor? Glad to see you have the power back, how long you watching the dog? Is it because your sister and your parents are on vacay, watching the dog?

Heh! The power went out at the office the other day around 4:30, so I used it as an excuse to leave early.

It was back on before I got out the door, but that didn't stop me. 😀

When I lived in Leavenworth Kansas we would get massive amounts of snow and or sleet-freezing rain, torrential rain with high winds, tornado warnings, you name it, and no power outages. But on clear sunny days with little or no wind the electricity would go off, and often stay off for hours. That never seemed to happen after dark.

I really hope you don't have any more power outages anytime soon. Even with all the spring storms that tends to be around where you are and in general all around. I know how much you hate when the power goes out.
I am not a fan of power going out either to be honest-that is why just glad that my hubby's grandmother-basically pretty much my mother in law-since my hubby's mother died in June 2009. My hubby's grandmother has a generator pretty good one-we can keep electricity on-but I know what you mean power outages are never fun. Especially would not be fun with a dog scared big time of storms and the dark/lightning. I really do hope we can chat soon. I miss you friend.
