It seems like second day picks are becoming more and more valuable as more and more teams are using the pro style instead of option offenses.

Who are some of you guys picks to be second day steels in this years drafts.

I think that Adrian McPherson formerly of Florida state, (if he makes it to the second day, had great workouts) if he winds up on a team like the cardinals with a lot of offensive talent could be the next brady esque (not the player, just the fact that they were starters taken on the second day).

And brady is a funny story, because when you look at his film from Michigan (a top program) he won the only two games he ever started (including a Rose bowl) and was as calm and collected as he was now. People just get caught up with arm strength stats when they pick QBs (I, live in Jacksonville, do the math)

Charlie Frye. QB Akron. Watch and see if this kid doenst move up into late 1st early 2nd round.

Who all has Qb'ed the Jags? Brunell, Leftwhich and Gararrd?

Here are some of my sleepers:

QB's: Andrew Walter, Derek Anderson from Oregon St.
RB's: Brandon Jacobs
ILB's: Boomer Grigsby, Robert McCune (probably gone first day, but I like this guy)
CB's: Ronald Bartell

that's it just Brunell and leftwich (Garrard is mainly just a backup) really. I like the simplicity that our franchise has enjoyed. I think that ehy are flirting with indecision now, but i like the fact i can remember all the QBs names.

I think that Charlie Frye will be very good, If i recall i think he had a good senrio bowl, I could be wrong.

I haven't heard of some of wk23's guys, but i will look them up.

I do loike Derek Anderson and Robert McCune. I think Anderson showed tons of heart against LSU, which leads me to another sleeper, bill Schwancutt from Oregon St. as well, one of the MVP's of the Senior bowl. the type of DE i like, qhuick, tough against the run, and a bargain in the late second early third with all the names in front of him.

McCune just plain looks like a football player. Hey may need to work on his change of direction, but when you put up a 4.51 in the 40 someone will take you. If nothing else look for him to be a special team standout early while developing his cover skills.

I will take the time to look up the rest for more discussion. great posts

Oh, and one more:

Jordan Beck ILB out of Cal Poly. Gil Brandt loves this kid. Word is, he impressed at his pro day. He could be moved to safety in the NFL.
