I just watched DBE (Dragonball evolution) it was hecka gay.
Biggest time waster ever.
I don't believe those actors will ever be taken seriously again.

I heard about this project long ago, but I was disappointed... you can't reproduce everything from rl into manga and vice verse...

They should have left it untouched...

Well this is my theory.....they've been trying to make decent comic book based movies since the 80's but no one ever took it seriously until now. Now we're getting movies like Sin City and the Watchmen which were PERFECT adaptations in almost every way....

Since they've only been doing Anime based movies quite recently, logic would dictate there won't be a decent one coming out until sometime after 2020 XD

And by the way....Fox apparently bought the rights to do a live action Cowboy Bebop movie...which ironically enough I have high hopes for since it definitely has a much more "westernized" theme and fits better into the typical blockbuster mold...

And then of course theres that hush-hush James Cameron CGI film project based off of the Battle Angel Alita Manga.....

I had to shower after watching the Dragonball movie


...and here's a bit of bad news (for some? all?) for the Cowboy Bebop movie...it's been confirmed Keanu Reeves is playing the role of Spike...I have no idea how to react to this.

What is next? Naruto Live Action movie? Vampire Knight?

Only anime they managed to shift from paper to reality is in my opinion Death Note, but still the original is more interesting to me and more breath taking.

Speaking of which, I heard they are doing an American live-action version of the anime as well...why do it is beyond me since there already exists a Japanese live-action version of it, and it's done WELL for once.

...and an American live-action Akira is in the works.

LOL OMG at the end of the movie i was laughin so hard at how inaccurate and gay looking it was!

I wonder if the director even knos the story of Dragonball and what not.
