A random thread idea for no logistically relevent purpose. If u could go visit any country (no time limit) and it was completely paid for, where would you go and what would you do/see/tickle(?) there? Since i lost my ROTC scholarship, i cant go study abroad in Japan (but i dont know much NIHONGO yet anyway). I would really REALLY like to visit Great Britain sometime. The foremost reason is that it is the second largest contributer to my ethnical heritage, second only to Duetschland, and there is so much there i want to see. Like Stonehenge, Loch Ness, Big Ben (not the quarterback), Churchill's Bunkers, the Crown Jewels, all the extravagent castle ruins, and the Imperial War Museum is of utmost interest

I'd want to go to Ireland to take in the beauty of the countryside, the wilderness, and nature. Theres something very magical about being in these types of places in a country like that, and I'd want to experience it.

I could always go there in my art, but its just not the same.

I'd love to visit Malaysia, stop by Kuala Lampur, then head out to Cyberjaya and see what all the fuss is about. Visit the beaches, go snorkling and such. Then head over to Thiland and see the sights there.

And hopefully I'll be tickling my wife every single day on our honeymoon there *sigh*

I haven't decided that. Oftentimes, its the places that aren't landmarks that are special. I'd want to also go to places no one ever goes. I don't think I'd be able to get the experience I would want if there were other tourists around or I had to travel with them. I'd want to go off and do my own thing.

Yeah in Ireland you can definately get a taste of the countryside-they have such fantastic views.I've frequently visited Southern Ireland and no matter how many times I go over there I'm still taken aback by the scenery.For example, where my family are they've got lovely views of the mountains-I just don't get that over here where I am.

I've also been to Galway Bay.....it's lovely there too.



I've never been to Northern Ireland though,but I'd love to take a trip over someday also to see the Giants Causeway in County Antrim.I've heard that it's amazing. :super_hap

I'd love to go to America i,e Florida for Disneyland.Las Vegas for the gambling and that....well pretty much do a tour of America just to see what it's like.

The two places I'd love to visit at some point would be Holland and Portugal, where my parents grew up. Then I have friends all over the world who I'd like to see/meet: from other parts of Canada, to the U.S., to Wales and the greater United Kingdom, all the way down to Sydney Australia. I don't think there's one place I'd like to visit for me though. 🙂
