First of all - a "miracle"? Shut the hell up. The train did what it was supposed to do and the brakes worked the way they were designed. This isn't a miracle - it's a really lucky woman who had WAY too much to drink.

Secondly, I am glad the train operastor reacted in time.

Wow! I take the train and ironically just two days ago, some drunk woman jumped in front of it and was instantly transformed to crimson jello.

I guess you've never tried to wrangle a drunk person. 😛 Belligerant waste-cases kicking and flailing don't really let you throw them over your shoulder and climb to safety.

I don't really fault these people for not wanting to risk their lives wrestling on subway tracks.
