Just read an article in the paper about some thieves and Austria tried to get a safe they had stolen open by pushing it onto a railroad track. The speeding train did smash the safe open but the money was blown all over the place (about $7500) and the thieves had to flee. The passenger train was derailed in the incident but no one was hurt fortunatley. I guess the thieves should think about bringing along something to open the safe next time.

I like the one about the guy who tried to pull an ATM Machine out of the wall with a chain attached to the bumper of his truck. The Machine didn't budge but the truck's bumper was pulled clean off. The would be thief panicked and left the scene....

Personally I love it when criminals get there just desserts, like when some guy tried to rob a newsagents up the road from my house, what he didn’t realise is that the store got robed frequently and the shop keeper kept a large baseball bat under the counter, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone run that fast!
