Dutch weed ==> harddrugs?

The debate on drugs in holland at the moment is about the fact that dutch weed contains about 2½ times the amount of THC found in foreign weed, and it has increased for 8.8% in 1999 to 15.2% nowadays. I've noticed the increase in effect too, what used to take half a bag is now done with just a bit 🙂

thing is christian party wants to put it on the harddrug list because of the extrordinairy high percentage of THC in it...

What do you ppl say? Dutch weed should be banned or not?

I have to agree with you

there would be a HELL of a lot less arrests, a less crowdeed judicial sysetm, and once legalized IMHO it might lose the "Bad" appeal.. and seem less glamourous to kids

Legalize all drugs... light drugs like pot are relatively harmless (compared to alcohol and cigarettes), and the use of hard drugs is usually due to 2 reasons: 1) the person is stupid or 2) the person is desperate and looking for an escape from reality. I have no sympathy for person #1 because there are too many people that fall into this category and because natural selection still has merit. Person #2 is only harming themselves and who am I (or anyone else) to tell them to quit? The government should mind its own business when it comes to the use of street drugs, because all the War on Drugs does is boost the street value of these drugs to the point that it's worth risking your life selling them when working at McDonald's is your only occupational alternative (at least, that's the way these desperate people see it).

I 100% agree with this responce..if a person wants to fuck their lives with drugs and thinks it's "cool" so be it.

I think everyone can blame Harry J. Anslinger for the illegalisation of weed. It's been proven that weed doesn't cause anti-social behaviour as much as alcohol would do, nor does it actually lead on to more harmful drugs like heroin and cocaine, but some people don't wanna listen. Mind you, this is the same Harry J. Anslinger that said the following...

"There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos, and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz, and swing, result from marijuana use. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers, and any others."

Hmm, the US has a solution to violence problem: weed

Simply because weed gives you the chilledness needed for a peacetalk in a gangwar for instance, it would solve alot of violence. If the governement would distribute weed in gang-neighbourhoods, it'd be a better place to be; a stoned person cannot fire a gun

Besides, most drug-criminals that get arrested are negros because of the way the police searches for dope...
