This isnt about the forum, but, there is a type of message I keep receiving, that I have never received in my ten years online, and I would appreciate if someone had advice about it.

As I mentioned before, my mom was placed in a nursing home near Reading, because the nursing home facility in Lancaster had no spots. I sent an e-mail to the president of the nursing home company, trying to convince him to move my mom to the Lancaster facility. Since I sent the e-mail on Monday night, I keep getting a "delivery notification delay" message from Gmail, about the e-mail i sent to the nursing home president. Does this mean that the man never got the e-mail? This is an extremely important correspondence, because of the scenario of my needing to get my mom transferred to the nursing home in Lancaster. I dont want to contact the guy again, for fear he will think I'm harrassing/badgering him. The thing is.. I dont know if he ever got the first e-mail with my request in the first place.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Mitch

Thanks, shark, I will do so tomorrow morning.

No it means that the server sending out your mail must have had a higher traffic volume than normal so them other e-mail were just to tell you it was taking longer that expected
