Now, I'm no huge sports fan, but I don't think most could consider themselves Philadelphians if they weren't watching today's game... And that WAS a kick-ass game. Hell of a way to end it, too -- 102 yard touchdown! Awesome!

I wonder what "Little T" learned today? 😀

OOOD, OD, OD, OD, OOOD, OOOD....

TO was a nowhere to be found and tearing his new team apart...you could see the Cowboys getting frustrated with TO's antics on the sidelines.

GO BIRDS!!!
Great game actually, not just because the Eagles won...but it certainly helps!
WooHoo...it will be a good week!

It's kinda easy to take someone out of a game when you put two people on him for the majority of the game. T.O. had a few chances but the balls were underthrown. And I'm pretty sure that the teams frustration was from losing, not from T.O.

Heart!

All I'm going to say on this subject is "Teams with GREAT heart can beat teams with greater ability!" That is all that needs to be said. The team with heart won this game. "One Team, One City, One Dream". Go Eagles!

Thank You,
LBFT

TO is an idiot

im glad the eagles won the nfl would be a better place without that big mouth crybaby i hate him TO thinks the nfl revolves around him

Don't make excuses why T.O. played poorly. You are paying this clown a boat load of money to catch 17 passes. What about the short-arms he had over the middle on an 8 yard pattern that Troy Aikman thought T.O. should have grabbed??? Be honest. Everyone said that T.O. made Donavan McNabb's numbers better. Well let me ask you, did T.O. contribute to any of the numbers McNabb had yesterday??? It is also said that the Eagles don't have a receivers since T.O. left. Well who were those players catching those 354 yards in the air??? Was it T.O.??? NOPE!!!

ticklefiend, c'mon, get real. your excuse for TO playing poorly is double coverage? oh give me a break. TO CONSTANTLY faces double coverages. that's nothing new. that is a lame excuse.

the problem is and it will slowly creep in, Bledsoe is an average QB. he is a statue in the pocket and will have trouble finding receivers. that means less opportunity for TO to make plays. the longer it goes and TO isnt doing well, he will begin to undermine his QB. dont believe me? ask Jeff Garcia when he played with TO in San Francisco. ask Donovan McNabb. TO has a history of agitating his QB and when Bledsoe keeps screwing up, TO will do something stupid. it is his nature.

plus TO drop some easy passes. TO is not playing to his ability as well. he even said that he needs to work harder. we will see how this season turns out. but you know it BURNED him that he didnt have a huge game, just to annoy the Eagles fans. oh well....

but i will give TO some credit. he could have been an idiot in the press conference after the game, but he wasnt. now, if he could do that ALWAYS, this whole circus will come to an end...

T.O. had two dropped passes the enitre game. Shouldn't have happened but they did. But it wasn't his fault that Bledsoe didn't have too much time to throw for most parts of the game. And Bledsoe made a few bad passes when he did. T.O. had a TD on the first Lito Sheppard interception. And he could have had another catch on the B-Dawk interception. T.O. had chances but they were missed. And you can hate all you want but T.O. was McNabbs only weapon while in Philly. Donte Stallworth, Reggie Brown and Hank Baskett were not in Philly during Owens' first year. T.O. came and McNabb had his best season ever. T.O. even led the receivers in yards and TD's slast season. He has good receivers now and McNabb is a good QB. But they have faced some of the worse defenses, especially against the pass, so far this season. The Eagles won but I still have faith in Big D.

Even with the double coverage there were still opportunities that were missed. T.O. can be blamed for dropping a pass but not for the ball being underthrown. The problem was the left side of the O-line. Had they did a better job of picking up their assignments it would have been a different story.

And I really could care less about what happened in San Fran and Philly. He's in Dallas now and he hasn't caused any trouble and he's doing his best to stay away from controversy. The media hopes and prays for something to happen and try to bate him into saying something and turn the simplest thing into a story. Those people need to get a life. And when has T.O. been an idoit in a press conference since being a Cowboy? Just wondering.

T.O. made himself sound like an immortal when he forced the Eagles hands last season. He said he made McNabb a better QB than he actually was. Do you really think he should be dropping passes at all under these circumstances??? I mean McNabb looks like a pretty good QB without T.O., doesn't he??? Lets be honest, without buttmunch, the Eagles are 4-1. The Cowgirls have buttmunch and they are 2-2. Do you see the coralation???

P.S. Good week for your picks. You had an extremely good week. I will post them in a little bit. 🙂

The Eagles were good with him too. They got to the Super Bowl his first year and used him more than th e'Boys are right now. It just seems like they are using him more as a decoy sometimes. But 4-1 and 2-2 don't mean much. The 'Boys will bounce back.

They did not get to the Super Bowl because of him. He did not play the last 3 regular season games and did not play in the playoffs. So as a result he had nothing to do with them getting to the Super Bowl. They went to the NFC Championship game the previous two years before he got there. So he did not do a darn thing to improve the Eagles. He wasn't even there for the NFC Championship game that they finally won. But after the Super Bowl he acted like a jerk.

Why you continue to argue with Fiend about TO is beyond me. TO could go on the field and shoot his QB in the face then piss on the American flag and he'd still defend TO.

Double coverage? Granted, I didn't get to see every second of the game, but I always saw Lito on TO and no one else. Could be because I was too busy laughing at his lousy game.

And how about those alligator arms TO has grown. He looked like Plaxico Burress did during his last season in Pittsburgh....always willing to jump and stretch for the ball when wide open, but if he heard a defender's footsteps, those arms came in quick. Saw that a few times with Owens. Looked to me like he was scared of getting hit by an Eagle defender. I wonder why?

If you don't think that T.O. improved the Eagles when he was there then you are craz. You can't have a superstar receiver and he doesn't improve your offense. And he may not have played in the playoffs but he still helped them get to the playoffs. And he was the only offense they had in the Super Bowl and the only reason they were even in that game.

I'm sure that laughing ceased sometime between 8:30 - 11:30

Then why are the Eagles a better team this year without St.T.O. and the Cowboys sitting with 2 loses with him???

Give him time to jell with Bledsoe, the numbers will be better. You forget that the season is only a quarter over. Long way to go

The Eagles have beat Green Bay, San Fran and Houston. I'm sure a lot of team could be better if they had those teams to open their schedule. And T.O. isn't the reason the 'Boys are 2-2. He didn't throw an interception after getting down to the 6. The Eagles sacked Bledsoe seven times, caused five turnovers and controlled the game for the majority of the second half. Yet somehow the Cowboys were still in it. The Eagles were the better team Sunday but theres no doubt in my mind that the Cowboys are the better team.

Since I expected my team to be 0-5 at this point and they are 2-3, I am actually having a good season. But you expected to be 4-0. And you are a mediocre 2-2 with the supposed best whiner...er...um wide receiver... yeah that is what I meant to say and he has caught 17 passes and dropped two passes when he didn't try very hard. So I am doing GREAT. I thought we were a last place 0-5 team. Except for Jacksonville, we have played every game very CLOSE!!! :lurking: 🙂

Actually I thought we would be no worse than 3-1 at this point, not necessarily 4-0. But, hey, they weren't to far away from being 4-0. I do know that we won't get shutout this year and there's no chance the 'Boys will lose by 41.
