Jeez...I wish Minnesota was awarded free touchdowns by the "officials" last night! What a farce! I hate that spindly-ass chicken-necked dweeb...every time he officiates a game, no matter where he is, he calls every batted eyelash against the visitor and lets huge shit go for the home team.

As far as I'm concerned, Philly and Minnesota both played well. I think they both absorbed too much of thier own hype over this supposed "shoot-out". I'm still proud of my Vikes, though. Philly only managed 17 points for most of the game against one of the leagues' lower tier defenses, and I refuse to count that bullshit TO touchdown. And speaking of which, the great TO is held to three catches for thirty-something yards, again not counting the bullshit reception.

At least I can console myself with one irrefutable fact: The Eagles will once again choke in the Championship game against some Cinderella team. Buffalo Bills of the NFC, man....

As an Eagles fan...I couldn't believe Tice didn't challenge the T.O. touchdown! That is why that instant replay is there...

Then Tice throws a red flag over a fumble...I would blame the Vikings COACHING more than their players for this loss.

Tice didn't put his team into a position to win...and how can the Vikings not run any long routes...oh yeah...cause the Freak was in the Vikes backfield before Culpepper even had the ball...
Seriously...I can't believe that there were only maybe 2 long balls thrown to Moss all night and they were not catchable by anyone...then Moss got that stupid pass-interference call.

Did you hear the Philly fans laugh at at him when he fumbled over the play were McNabb caught a pass..."wanna get away"...


Umm...sir your Vikes got beat by the Cardinals last year to NOT get into the playoffs...

Yeah my Birds choke on bread but hey its a great ride anyway...

Yeah, Tice should have gotten his head out of his ass for the challenge, but like Al Micheals said, these things should be changed for the PAT. It's an automatic part of the touchdown score and should be held to a different standard when it comes to replay. As for Jevon Kearse...yeah, he played very well. BUT...with starting tackles out for the game and Kliensasser out as well, I could have probably bum-rushed Culpepper all night. 🙄

Not the best game by either team...but you can never tell in the second week. Wouldn't it be weird if after all this talk, it comes down to Philly and Minnesota in the Champ game? 😀

Actually, I was just saying that today..
It could be the Eagles, Vikings and Seahawks in the hunt this year...so far at least...

I am still in shock at this weekends NFL games...just amazing!

What I don't understand either is that Culpepper, a 270 lb QB just didn't bowl over the DB for Philly on third down when they had to settle for a FG. It looked to me like he just stopped when he approached the goal line. If he kept going full speed, he would have scored by momentum alone.

Moss was double and triple teamed all night hence the nonfactor.

Did you think Culpepper was in on that fumble which was recovered by the Eagles? At the time the score was 10-6 Philly. That could have been a turning point in the game if the play went Minny's way.

Actually, if the Culpepper rush were a designed play, it probably would have worked. From the way he hesitated (which he never does on QB draws) and the way the right tackle fell over himself trying to cut back, it was probably a blown screen pass that Daunte tried to save.
