Easter update

I have to say that Easter is a wee bit evil. I've recently lost half a stone the past couple of months (part of that was possibly lost when I puked my brains out in an after-gig party a month ago) and I can't resist all these frickin' chocolate Easter eggs. Ah well. Hope you enjoy the above card featuring some of the TMFs artists (well, ones with an online cartoon alter-ego anyway). That said, the card is the only Easter-themed pic in this little update... check out two "oldies" of mine which I've never shown before...

And now, as promised, the two new girls added to the "adventures". I've named them Mitzy (the small, busty "redhead") and Alex (the gangly, blushed chick) respectively. As I said before, they were bandmates of mine in a punk band I was in. I've drawn three versions of them, because they can change styles quite dramatically. They won't be part of the other 9 girls, but will be part of "my past exploits" and what I should've been up to, if you know what I mean... 😉

Anyway, enjoy this little update, and I hope you like Mitzy and Alex!

OK, here's the answers to your questions, fat ass... er... Cartman. 😀

The 2002 one has Jessica, Maki and Lucia from Capcom's Final Fight 1, 2, and 3 respectively. Though I mentioned that already...
The 2000 one has Chun-Li (Street Fighter), Nina (Tekken), Epon (Tobal), Janet (Virtua Cop, Fighter's Megamix), Tina (Dead or Alive) and Chizuru (King of Fighters) tickled by Norimaru.
As you guessed, all the girls mentioned are from a fighting game of some sort...

They look great Grimped Chimp. What do you use to color them with before you scan/download them to be viewed? I would like to get that quality of stregth to the colors I choose.

Okay, gripped chimp. I understand about being buzy (oh, don't I know🙁 ) I am just so excited by your unbelieveable power of drawing. Last December, I was convinced that you could get any better. What has followed can only be described as a modern-day miracle. You have far surpassed my old expectations, (which unfortunatley means that I have kind-of build overpowered expectations of you.)

Go ahead, and take the time to do it right. That what makes your work as magnificent as it is.

Believe it or not, I'm using felt tips to colour my work, just like you are, rajee. Have done for the past 2 years here in this TMF. I use ones from Woolworths and WHSmith (two UK retail chains) but I only go for colour selection, not quality. Besides, it's not what you buy, it's what you do with them. However, my latest set are starting to run out, but I've no intentions to replace them, as I'm taking "the next step" in my art. If you want to know what I use for outline, I use a set of 3 Pilot pigment pens, all of different width and dry almost instantly. They hardly smear the colours too.

Hmm... my art is no different from December, critter. And I have to admit, my art isn't the best by a long shot. Don't expect much from me... but expect something big this summer!

i dont know how to say this, but ive looked over a lot of your stuff and it is FANTASTIC!! your work with color is beautiful! i especially like the way you draw your characters, they all look so cute being tickled. are these real people you draw or women you come up with for your drawings? im totally blown away by your talents. maybe if you do draw from real people, you could do a drawing of me sometime, i think thatd be sweet

Thanks, ragedy_dolly! Yes, some of the girls I draw (including the punk chicks in this particular update) are real people I knew/know. However, there are more established girls in my art! Other pics (like other two in the update) are just fan art for characters from famous cartoons, video games, and such like. That Easter pic is just a pic of online caricatures of my fellow artists.

Now, your request. I hear your 5' and size 13E feet? That's unheard of for me! Nevertheless, there's nothing wrong with that. As mentioned, I do draw real people, including female TMF members who have requested to be drawn by me (my next update will be themed on them)! Therefore, I won't have any problems doing your request. Your member pic in the TMF will give me a little head-start. All I need from you are a few more details of yourself, and you can meet me in the TMF chatroom (during the morning or afternoon your time), or you can e-mail me at [email protected] or Yahoo! IM me. I should be able to do the request within a month or so.
