Eli In - Payton Out

Oh

How many Super Bowls have you won? Ever won a NCAA National Championship
Football Game?

Wouldn't it be f##king insane for Eli to go all the way?

Yeah, but it'd be his defense carrying him there.

I will say, he's managed his last few games very well. Not turning the ball over, and throwing at a high percentage. I'm surprised. I always thought Rivers was the better QB out of that class, but I've eaten my words there. He may be in the AFC title game, but he's still seemse very immature as a person (screaming at something, every single time the camera is on him), and still turns the ball over a lot. He did well against Indy, though. Eli has remained professional thus far.

I'd be lying if I said I thought the Giants could beat the Packers on Sunday, but anything is possible. I'm just hoping for a good, tough game. It'll be 4 degrees!

Being from Atlanta, I witnessed our very own pit-bull boy make history, in the snow no less. And Eli is used to the cold. Mabey not the snow. We'll see. But I'm with you. I want a close game.

Bullshit

He took his team the length of the field in 46 seconds. His defense isn't carrying him, it's complementing him. His defense didn't put 34 points up against the Patriots and the Pats will tell you they played their heart out.

As for Rivers, some Quarterbacks shout, ever see Jim McMahon? Marino? Bobby Layne? It's all part of the package. I'd prefer Rivers fire to Manning but this year I've been very impressed with Manning.

Maybe I should have specified...shouting at fans after winning (a game that he had no part of the 4th quarter winning drive, no less), shouting/talking shit to Jay Cutler and the Broncos after they made a mistake...not after he made a good play himself. I agree with Champ Bailey - Rivers is surrounded by great talent, and may be able to manage a game from time to time, but he has earned no right to be talking shit to anybody. This is a guy who has been booed by his own home crowd this season, but jumps at the chance to yell things at Jay Cutler after making a bad play. Just be a professional, dude. Win something significant, and maybe you'll have something to brag about. Right now, you don't. Getting to the AFC title game is a good 1st step. Keep going.
