Elizabeth Hasslebeck Thinks Tickling is the creepiest thing

Maybe we should invite her to visit Tommy's Tickle Abuse for a session or two!

And why should we care about her opinion? She's entitled to it. I can think of a thing or two that I consider to be the creepiest thing, and I'm pretty sure there's lots of people out there who like it.

And I keep telling you that there's nothing wrong or creepy or gross about enjoying a spoonful of hair & peanut butter every now & again!

Hey, if you don't make ME eat it, I'll even serve it to you if it makes you happy! 🙂

I'm gonna go all Archer here and remind you all.... "Uh, phrasing?"

Ms. Hasselbeck is not issuing a blanket statement on tickling anyone, anywhere. She's saying that in this particular context, the congressman clarifying that he didn't "grope" another grown man, he merely "tickled him until he couldn't breathe" wasn't any better. If anything, it was worse because of the implied bullying/abuse involved.

Once again, we have a bunch of over-sensitive fetishists who can't tell the difference between fun sexytimes and acting like a fucktard.

Agreed. One must understand what she said in the context of the conversation. United groping is a bozo no-no, but uninvited tickling until breathless is most probably assault, if not flat out boorish; ie: "Icky"

I think tickling is no different than kissing, caressing or any other form of loving, intimate touch. It can be creepy, depending on how it's done and who is doing it. I get where she was coming from in this context.

I wonder if Massa's tickling of the aide "until he couldn't breathe" would be considered nonconsensual?

In that context her opinion is even the right one!

Maybe I missed something there, but I got the impression that she was creeped out with the idea of a grown man tickling another grown man....

I certain there are plenty of people that think she's creepy when she opens her mouth so it really doesn't matter

I'd be happy to show Elizabeth a side of tickling she wouldn't find disgusting 😛

Buuuut, yeah, the context she made this comment in is completely justified. The guy is a legit creep and he's tried to justify sexually harrassing someone by saying it was an innocent, platonic encounter. I dont think so buddy!

I despise Elisabeth Hasselbeck., I cant stand her personality, and she demonstrates no intelligence whatsoever. I take anything she says with an absolute grain of salt.

I took it that she felt it was creepy for a grown man (who's a Congressman) to be tickling another grown man who happens to be his employee. It's a bit effed up, I agree with her. Most people dislike her because she's in the minority in the "mainstream media" with a more conservative point of view. So much for tolerance. Even if I disagree with a lot of what she says she's entitled. Shame on her for not going along with the rest of the hard core libs she had to sit with. Yeah, her old cast mates were a brain trust. Geeeeez

Who the hell cares what a worthless "celebrity" thinks about any goddamn thing?

Ok, I'll wade into this. A: We don't have to flip out anytime anyone mentions tickling on TV, but I guess that's fine. B: The situation she's talking about is weird, and she's not wrong to call it out. C. The first posts that we should drug her and tickle the hell out of her make us look like disgusting creeps over here. If we're defending this as a kinky but consensual fetish, that sure as hell ain't helping.

I don't want to drag someone who's not into it kicking and screaming. I'd much rather tickle/be tickled by someone into it. To make a weird analogy: You don't give your gourmet, connoisseur coffee to someone who hates the stuff. You share it with someone who appreciates it. So, y'know, if Deadlywiffeathr wants to come over for coffee sometime...

Yes, so....I'm amazed that it's actually Elisabeth Hasselbeck's reaction that is getting the press here among us, and not that tickling is in the news because of what this congressman said...which IS totally weird and creepy. He says it like it's no big deal, "I didn't grope him, I just tickled him til he couldn't breathe!!" as if that's a normal thing for a Congressman to do with an aide. To me, Ms. Hasselbeck's response is totally justified and it's SO WEIRD that the guy SAID THAT.

That said, if it were a female congresswoman and a female aide.....wouldn't we all be going nuts with delight right now?

I've never had coffee with a badass before, but for you, I'll gladly make an exception.
