Mega hit-maker Michael Jackson is picking his battles wisely. As of late, Jackson is angered and upset over the the way he's portrayed in Eminem's music video for "Just Lose It." Eminem, notorious for making fun of pop culture icons, could face legal action because of his antics. Cable channel BET, a Jackson supporter, pulled the controversial video from their airwaves.

Eminem needs to knock Jackson off, thats all there is to it

who cares about Slim. there are alot more talented Rappers out there in Rap Music Game then Eminem anyways.

eh, we all know Ems gonna turn MJ into the little girl he's always wanted to be

the Just lose yourself video is the funniest hes made yet. Mike brought the attention on to himself, so he needs to take it like the man he was..little whimp.

Michael Jackson has enough negative attention as it is, and doesn't need this at all. I'm not that crazy about Eminem anyway for reasons that would take away from the spirit of this thread. How many potential jurors are watching the video?

But, according to the Constitution, he has the right to free speech, so I don't know how a lawsuit is going to be won. Maybe MJ should've kept his mouth shut and let it pass. Now, everyone will be looking for the video since it's labeled taboo. That's exactly what Eminem wanted.

MTV stated that they would also ban the video...but then remembered that they don't show videos anymore:whip:

The Sean Man

I heard the song but didnt see the video. I like Eminem, but Micheal Jackson is a legend. I dont know. I definatly think people should leave him alone. Hell everyone assumes that he did it but nobody really has any proof. (BTW this is really weird because last weak I downloaded this mix where they had "billy jean" and "the real slim shady" mixed together. Has anyone else noticed that with every album eminem changes. With infinate he was a normal Detriot style rapper. With the slim shady lp, my favorite eminem album, he was broke and hated the world. With the Devils night out he was crazy but good, basically he conformed to the image of D12. With the Marshall Mathers lp he was just trying to go as crazy as possible and piss everybody off. With the Eminem show he was actually turning back normal, I like it alot. With D12 world he was conformed again and with his new album It sounds like he has finally lost it. Hes gone bizarrer than bizare. Just lose it is a funny song though. Anyways this is just my 10 cents my two cents it free.

Psycho

what about the director and producers of scary movie 3, did they get sued. They portrayed mj in a comical way. This is all very silly. Eminem is more comical, its hard to take him serious sometimes. I think the law suit will be thrown out the window.

I dont think the video should be banned...but this situation brings way too many questions up in regards to Em and his place in rap history.

Personally, I think it is over. Not his music career, but the end of his street credibility run. When he first started on Lyrical Lounge, he was known for his ability to freestyle. And he could (and probably still can) battle with the best of them. On his second album, he showed the world that not only could he freestyle, but he could write (and for those who arent really into hip hop, there is a huge difference). He garnered the respect of his peers and his enemies, and whether it was a diss song, a Slim Shady song, or an Eminem song, Marshall was one fo the best period. In his collaborations with Jay-Z and the late 2Pac, h was just as good as his counterparts. He started producing, and everyone in the industry had him producing a joint on their album (check the cd notes of some of your favorite artists...alot of people didnt broadcast it).

But somewhere along the way, between teaching 50 cent how to rap and D12's second album, he became a parody of himself. I forgave him for "Da Band", dismissing it as D12's problem more than his own. But it isnt...it is him.

He needs to stop dressing like women in his videos. What is this...the 5th video where he has lipstick on? He cant very well call Ja Rule, Everlast, and Fred Durst a bitch if he is the one in heels. This new song is horrible. It is everything he said he would never become. And he cant blame it on the execs, because he owns the label, and even if he didnt, he has made so much money off of himself, D12, G-Unit, Obie Trice, etc., that he could have released the new album with the songs he wanted bootleg style and still went platinum.

He has often been mentioned in the Top 5 MC's of all time. But, now, it is over. He isnt hip hop anymore. KRS-1 didnt wear make up. Neither did Redman, Rakim, LL, Nas, Jay, Big, Kane, hell...they may have made a few comical songs. But they never compromised the music and the lifestyle.

Here's to this album being his last one.
