I'm making the obvious choice right now.

I think it will be Titians verses Giants.

I want Blitzburgh vs. Dallas... but that probably won't happen.

Put me down for Blitzburgh vs. G-Men, final answer.

I'll hold off until after this week's Wild Card Radio. On our Wild Card Weekend Special, I'll make my official pick.

For the last 14 years that I've been keeping track of my Super Bowl predictions, I've picked at least one of the teams right 12 times, and both of them 9 times. So, I gotta really give this some thought and see what happens in the last week. If I stick with what I'm thinking now, though...one of the teams will be a dark-horse pick.

Here are my fearless predictions

Conference Finals:

Panthers over Falcons (yup I think the Falcons pick the Giants off in the divisional round).

Colts over Steelers. (and I'm taking the Colts to take out the Titans in the divisional round too).

Super Bowl:

Colts over Panthers.

Steelers vs either the Panthers or the Eagles

Now I know the Eagles aren't going to be a trendy pick, but in reality, you have to automatically eliminate the Cardinals, the Vikings are inconsistent, we don't know which Giants team is going to show up, the Falcons are unproven, and the Panthers while looking good now, lost to the Raiders this year. So yeah I'll give the edge to Carolina, but I think the Eagles have a shot

AFC wise its pretty much all the teams we though would be there, minus the Patriots. Really not a bad team in there despite San Diego only being 8-8. I still think the Steelers are a better team then the Titans and that the loss last week was due more to fatigue from playing the Giants, Colts, Patriots, Cowboys and Ravens in the weeks leading up to that game with only a game with the Bengals in between the Colts and Patriots as a week to rest up. They just completed the hardest schedule in the NFL in 25 years with a 12-4 record, and the Giants and Colts games they should have won.

You sir,

Just became an honorary member of 'Steeler Nation'! 😀

Because you sure know what you're talking about!

*high five*

In this part of Indiana, almost everyone is either a Bears fan or a Colts fan. The Bears choked, but the Colts are really playing well now. I hope the Colts get to the SB. It will make whatever party we attend much more interesting.

So I will pick the Colts to be the AFC representative. As for the NFC, I would love to see the Eagles get in, because of the way they opened a six-pack of whupass on the Cowboys yesterday.

Love,
Jean

Hey I have been a Steeler diehard since birth pretty much and an overall football maniac. I gotta know my material here 😀.

damn straight lol .. the only prob with my pic is that matt ryan could hit the rookie wall.. and if he does i think carolina takes the nfc
Don't count out the Giants. Do you think Carolina can stack up to NY in a showdown?

yes they had them beat if kasey wouldnt have missed the feild goal.. and i dont trust the giants offense in the playoffs.. i think teams will stack the line in attempts to stop the run game.. if they do the giants will shut down.. no plex and a hurt kevin boss, those recievers arent scaring anyone

OH YEAH?! Well I agree! So there!

since i am a homer 😉

Giants vs Steelers

Giants win 24 - 13

Now that I did the offical pick on the show, here's how I see it, and we'll see if my streak stays alive.

Ravens beat Dolphins
Colts beat Chargers

Falcons beat Cardinals
Vikings beat Eagles
*******************

Steelers beat Colts
Ravens beat Titans

Giants beat Falcons
Vikings beat Panthers (yes, I said it, and for objective reasons, too 😉 )
*******************

Ravens beat Steelers
Giants beat Vikings (See? Told you I was being objective!)

Super Bowl winner? Honestly, I could see it going either way.

That's my prediction. However, should Baltimore stumble, the only other AFC team that will make it all the way is Pittsburgh. And...I do have this little voice in the back of my head whispering Falcons.....Falcons...

My original SB pick way back before the season started was Chargers vs. Giants. Since both made the playoffs it could theoretically still happen, but I don't see San Diego going that far. Guess I'll stick with it until one of them falls out.
